Just want to say Hooj. I was a doto player. I did see my objective rank, and I loved it that way. I hate the obfuscated MMR systems and stuff that Riot has in League and Valo. Give me the pure MMR number any day. When I played Dota ranked, there weren't even rank brackets, it was just a straight MMR number. Nowadays it still gives you the number, but it also assigns a rank bracket to it. I get that lots of people don't like it, but I do. The other game that I played ranked in was Destiny 2, it's a garbage game from a comp standpoint, but the only time I enjoyed the way the ranked system functioned was when you had an elo number and it matched you purely based off of the elo like Chess. Win, number go up, lose, number go down. Simple.

You have such good tips and routine videos. At this point I am being held back cause of hardware issues lol, skill's enough, but when I take gunfight my fps drop from 90 to 40 due to heat throttling (CPU lowering processing power due to heat issues) and loose the fight due to that.

Went from hard stuck Bronze 3 ( 3 months ago ) to Immortal 2 ( 13 away from Immo 3 ;-; ) All from watching this little banana in the corner of my screen and listening. Did the PWEA and focused on what I was doing differently and how to do it in-game but in lower elo, etc etc.. It was hella hard in plat2-3 cuz tm8s were bricked and didn't listen but I was dropping 35 kills a game with like 5 - 7 deaths so we were up anyways.

Do not hide your rank or Mmr. Smite did that for years and it killed the game. I was a GM player and it was a nightmare to watch my buddies want to be GM and grinding for months without any validation.

Adding to 33:25 ish, I can atone to have lost gold 1 0rr within one game twice in a row now. My mrr might be fucked but it happened. Maybe hooj reads this, maybe not. My games are for the most part doomed. I play with dia/asc 5 stack and do really decent but in my gold/silver games I shit the bed and often do worse than my team, even though I can see how bad enemies/teammates play and know I'm heaps beyond them *if I actually step up my game*

Chess has an objective ranking system and it works. You earn and lose elo depending on the elo diff with your opponent. Maybe asymmetrical team matches are a bit harder to rate like that Edit : Ah, you talk about it afterwards nvm
