In the states that is true but in the UK you can be trespassed from Public property for any reason and they can put hands on you and use reasonable force if they see fit. However trespass is not a criminal act and the police cannot intervene unless it becomes aggravated trespass which would be something like a public order offense inside public property.
@east-endjustice7883
@east-endjustice7883 Жыл бұрын
@@petertaylor9384 yeah it's a civil matter however discrimination is still illegal in the u.k. also, so even though the state/kingdom owns public property, absent an actual crime to be trespassed from a public property would be illegal and can be sued for. It's sort of how royal families even exist is that the ancestors bought and own the bulk of the land therefore like a man/woman is the king or queen of their own property and house/castle, sometimes property is owned by a family with split ownership, and "land lords" are the kings for which tenants rent from to use their land and property but must abide by rules set by the Kings or queens of the land which they rent or lease and there are regulatory laws set forth to prevent abuses and clarify guidelines for these relationships but essentially the royal family owns the lands aside from plots owned by others and the royal family actually gained their wealth by selling or leasing lands for extended periods of contract etc and get paid in dividends or rents essentially. The reason the royal family even has powers especially ones in power, is because it's like as a landlord you can grant exceptions and exemptions for some of your rules you enforce while on your property etc. Of course on a much larger and spanned scale but this is the simplest way to explain these scenarios so it is still illegal to trespass an innocent person from a public property despite all property technically being owned by someone in the u k. This is by the perspective of discrimination though, much as it is the case in u.s. and other "free countries" that recognize similar rights.

Yep, 100%, in any dispute between a member of the public and Tescos / JobCentres / Leisure centres / Council offices / Train Services (etc etc) . . . the police will - as a matter of default - side with the corporations and public services against the public . . . 100% of the time. Their default in any dispute is to always take a position _against_ the member of the public . . . yet at not stage anywhere in their training, job description or policy does it state "I will uphold the sanctity of Tesco Express".

They do seem to want to keep on giving rather than Foxtrotting Oscar and doing some real crimefighting. Not forgetting the wicked witch of the Notts trying to feel your face and hair. @TheSadButMadLad
@TheSadButMadLad Жыл бұрын
It is private property. That's because the UK doesn't have the concept of public ownership of property. The public only elect politicians to act on their behalf in controlling and running the organisation that owns the property. However, in any building or place which is open to the public and designed to be used by anyone for any reason (not just those that PC Lane thinks are valid) then it's a public place. And in a public place the rights of the property owner are severely curtailed. They cannot make up policy on the fly, they cannot act to eject people without a lawful excuse such as a crime occurring or anti-social behaviour.

They are there, by your side, they seem normal, but they are superheroes. Even if I were fully vaccinated, I would admire the unvaccinated for standing up to the greatest pressure I have ever seen, including from spouses, parents, children, friends, colleagues and doctors. People who have been capable of such personality, such courage and such critical ability undoubtedly embody the best of humanity. They are found everywhere, in all ages, levels of education, countries and opinions. They are of a particular kind; these are the soldiers that any army of light wishes to have in its ranks. They are the parents that every child wishes to have and the children that every parent dreams of having. They are beings above the average of their societies, they are the essence of the peoples who have built all cultures and conquered horizons. They are there, by your side, they seem normal, but they are superheroes. They did what others could not do, they were the tree that withstood the hurricane of insults, discrimination and social exclusion. And they did it because they thought they were alone, and believed they were alone. Excluded from their families' Christmas tables, they have never seen anything so cruel. They lost their jobs, they let their careers sink, they had no more money… but they didn't care. They suffered immeasurable discrimination, denunciations, betrayals and humiliations… but they continued. Never before in humanity has there been such a casting, we now know who the resisters are on planet Earth. Women, men, old, young, rich, poor, of all races and all religions, the unvaccinated, the chosen ones of the invisible ark, the only ones who managed to resist when everything fell apart, collapsed. It's you, you passed an unimaginable test that many of the toughest marines, commandos, green berets, astronauts and geniuses couldn't pass. You are made of the stuff of the greatest that ever lived, those heroes born among ordinary men who shine in the dark.

Brilliant video local council buildings are becoming fortified (where I am it's like fort Nox, security (locked gates) access to the front desk is the only access we have, and getting to a department for help and advice (good luck) and they NEVER answer calls, and without an "appointment" no chance of seeing anyone. He was a counselor? They always dive for the lowest common denominator vulnerable people, it's a public building with a public lobby, they are more "vulnerable in the street, and they can't be "singled out" as the building is for everything so no one would know what you were in for. But the easy option for the police is to move you (if they can) But the police are at their best when they abuse the rules they have, and no way did this rise to that, and I loved the way the other cop started to change the narrative and try and justify "breach of the peace" Brilliant comeback to him by the way
