I have often talked about how string theory proves the existence of God, and how it's such a beautiful concept. It amazes me how Jon always seems to get me. Since the first time I heard a switchfoot song at the age of 13, when I felt like a total outcast weirdo, all the way to today at the age of 33, I have always felt connected to their music. Jon has such a beautiful mind and soul, and I am so thankful for him.

I remember being at a fasting camp having prayed for about three days without that breakthrough feeling. On the third day, as I was out trying to pray, I played this song and was overwhelmed by a presence I had not before nor have ever experienced since (at least not in the same measure). I lay down on the grass and worshiped the deepest I have ever for an hour or two with this song on repeat. That moment became a kind of bookmark in my life ... as if to remind me, "There is more. You know there is more than this."
