Thanks! I absolutely adore this song. I was really unsure about whether this pairing would work or not, considering no one has done this pairing before. Believe it or not, I was originally planning to use Esmeralda as the older Melody, but then I noticed that Melody and Vanessa bared a pretty good resemblence to each other, so I used Vanessa instead. I was seriously tempted to do a vid like that, but I didn't want to be a copycat and I wasn't sure how well it would go over with some people. (Even though younger girl/older guy was pretty common back then.) I'm thinking about making a one-sided video where Melody has like a schoolgirl crush on John or something, but I'm still trying to decide on a song to use. The video is great, but how did you come to use this song? It's one of my faves from NDdP, but it seems like an odd choice. The song is about struggling against desire, and the video is about finding a lost love, if I read them both correctly.
