The slam stuff did open my eyes to other things that new players specifically struggle with in 6 though. I'll worknon videos for that. Maybe.

19:44 Here for the lvl 1 combo insteed of medium ryuuenbu into light cartwheel you can do light ryuuenbu into heavy cartwheel and it will do slighty more dmg but the timing for the imputs is really tight, also amazing guide :)

Warning about the meaty fan in the corner, your opponent can DI on wake-up and you have no way to stop it. If you have flame stocks you can counter DI, but without it is kinda fake

they can Di and you can also do a little fake out. Uncharged fireball does let you also counter Di. Is one of those things where you shouldn't just do it everytime.

Something that Brian didn’t mention that’s actually really important to know is that the repeated lights into light elbow combo is not real if the opponent back rolls on wake up mid screen. You have to drive rush if you want to continue that specific string

You can hold 6P during EX fan toss to get the extra fan. You don't have to mash.

Really good tips for the fan pressure. I was using the heavy hold and noticed people alwaya way from it... Medium hold solves it. However the tips for the oki after light elbow only seem to work if they wake up in place. If they backroll, they are too far for crLK to connect after crLP... Gotta change it to crLP > LP instead. Couldn't get a way to fix the frame trap after blocked bHP tho... Her lights are so stubby, never seems to connect afterwards.

Why is everyone ignoring both target combos! The heavy one makes them roll for an extended combo! The light one makes her jump off of her opponent, much like Kimberly!

FYI for those watching this vid your Mai dosen't suck because you're in Plat/Diamond or haven't hit masters yet. It's an old elitist BS mentality the fgc has been struggling with for years. There's good ways to improve your play but if you made it to those higher ranks, good shit, you're doing very well. Onwards to leveling up your play even more.
