Well well well then, here it is..... and I must say this is rock and roll high cool. It's my scene and it is freaking me out. Great accompanying video, super cool and just trippy enough. If this portends the quality of the upcoming release it further reaffirms that Sergeant is one of the most creative and talented forces working today-- and for the last 30 years actually. Just dive into his solo projects and you most definitely won't be disappointed. He is hugely important.

Let's get Les Pattinson back in the Bunnymen again and have a proper Echo album, please! These last few records have been all right, but he is sorely missed out here on the receiving end of the sounds you make.

It would be nice. I think the biggest weakness with Echo & the Bunnymen these days--and this is coming from a huge lifelong fan--is the lyrics. They're more shallow and far less adventurous now than on those first four albums. No one expects Ian McCulloch to stay the same person, but we do expect him not to settle for the easiest rhyme and the nearest cliche. With interesting words, this latest album could have been great. The last few could have been solidly good. But he only nails one or two songs per album anymore, and it gets harder and harder to care about separating the wheat from the chaff. Still, better bass lines and sounds wouldn't hurt!

+HendrikVonDresden I have to say that the last 2 albums were serious disappointments to me... they didnt have the echo sound to them at all.. it just seemed like it was just there, but nothing to go back to and listen to over and over again. Sometimes bands need to go back and revisit themselves from the time they first started to get back to that sound that made them who they were.
