This podcast could have been better without Natasha.. her dirty looks, the way she tried to shut down the gold that is this podcast by turning away from the screen etc. Has she never even seen this podcast once? Or did she just come on to give her husband death stares as he tells stories or tries to joke around with Tom and Christina... Feel bad for the guy, he tried to joke around etc snd she just sat there looking upset and cranky the whole time. This podcast episode had a weird air to it and i think it was because of Natasha.

I've had the exact same situation where a friend of mine had the subtitles on during a comedy special! My eyes would keep drifting down to the words and all the punchlines would be spoiled. It really goes to show how many different elements there are to each joke on a special. When a joke is acted out on stage it's is so much different than a joke in text form.
@jballccs6 жыл бұрын
I watch EVERYTHING with subtitles. Especially comedy specials. There have been several times where I have missed entire jokes before I used subtitles. Now if I watch something with subtitles, that I have previously seen without them, I pick up a lot more of the content. Especially if it is an off handed play on words. I now even ask for the captioning device in movie theaters. Once you get used to using them, you feel like you are missing a lot without them

There's strong evidence that Kathleen Peterson was attacked by an owl while outside, it got tangled in her hair, and she slipped and fell down the stairs while panic-running indoors. The lacerations on her scalp match owl talon mark patterns and she had small owl feathers in her hair. She also was clutching a clump of hair in her hand tangled with a stick and tiny feathers, indicating she had pulled some of her hair out attempting to remove the panicking animal.

Are you serious? We watched different shows.... I thought David Rudolf was the WORST. The way that Michael Petersons brother described how the jury views him is perfect. Sleezeball, oily and in it for his own gain. You can tell by the time he declines helping him in the "re-trial" how much he is looking out for himself. He mocked other people constantly (like how short M.P was), and when someone said he looked old he got very offended.
@rokeeffe916 жыл бұрын
Tetra I don't remember any mocking, and if anything it playful jesting during a fucked up situation like defending your life. I could understand him not wanting to prepare brand new evidence for a retrial. He did end up representing him for the plea in the end though. I would love to see the entire court TV trial though.... It's definitely not on here I've looked :(

I have a hard time focusing, so I like to read and listen at the same time. It used to take me 2 months to read a book. Now, I buy the audiobook and the physical book together to read and listen at the same time, and I finish a book in only a week or two. Same goes for watching TV with subtitles; it's easier for me to pay attention when I use 2 senses to absorb material. It's different in a live setting because the atmosphere of being in the live room makes it easier to focus, but I have a hard time when just reading a book or just watching TV
