The Set Me Free Project® is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to stop human trafficking before it starts by providing prevention education to all ages.
Why prevention? Prevention education focuses on intervening at the earliest stages before individuals fall prey to traffickers. By instilling a sense of self-worth, teaching critical thinking skills, and nurturing emotional resilience, prevention education reduces the likelihood of individuals being coerced or deceived into trafficking situations.
The impact of prevention education extends beyond individuals and communities-it has the potential to create a ripple effect that reaches far and wide. As educated individuals share their knowledge and insights; they contribute to a cultural shift that rejects trafficking in all its forms. By fostering a generation that is vigilant, informed, and empathetic, we lay the foundation for a future free from human trafficking.
You can make a difference today by becoming a monthly donor and supporting a classroom, a school, a school district, or even an entire state!
Our curriculum is informative, interactive, and flexible, reaching students (K-12th grade), educators, parents and leaders in every facet of our communities.
The Set Me Free Project® is unique in our use of engaging, age appropriate curriculum in every presentation. We focus on defining human trafficking and helping students identify why and how they could be at risk. We provide a foundation for all students to recognize the intrinsic value in every human being.
