I am a Beauty Therapist, so I am not qualified to administer/prescribe medications or local numbing injections....the most frustrating part of my job is when a client comes to me with severe acne and they hold an unrealistic expectation thinking I can remove their acne: it just isnt possible. Some clients do not want to pay the money to see a Specialist Dermatologist or they cannot afford to pay. As a result I have found ways to treat their acne that is very creative but those creative techniques do work, I have always wished to see these techniques and skills cross over to a Qualified Doctor and I think what you have shown on this video is the best example .... this patient's skin is going to respond extremely well to the medicine but also to your extraction techniques, love the Q-Tip Technique it is very affective, and yes the extractors do have limitations, the finger squeeze is always helpful....it is wonderful to see a doctor using these techniques they do work, and is much better than I & D techniques which leave terrible scars and often suture tracks. Wonderful video, and I am truly enjoying watching this patient's skin transform, you have done such a brilliant job so far and saved her from years of severe acne and the scarring that comes with it.

I really love these videos where improvement is documented. Acne is so hard for teens especially with so many body issues at this age. Unlike many I don’t really watch for the big pops. I was ER nurse so in my nursing career I have seen my share of very large abscess drainage. I like to see different techniques and hear about the goals of what is most important with different techniques. I have watched Greg for a long time and learned a great deal about these extractions. He is gentle and has great deal of compassion for his clients. Always asking about how they are dealing. Thank you for sharing

I really wish dermatologists would have done this 40 years ago. I never had skin issues but my poor sister had terrible acne. The major belief was don't squeeze don't squeeze. But how can anything heal with all that stuff in it? You can see just by her skin that this treatment works. Great doctor! Beautiful little patient🤗 Thank You!

Yeah, the common theory was that you shouldn’t pop anything when I was young. My mother believed strongly in popping in a clean environment. I would wash my face and pop anything that was “ready” for a few of the greasy years 13-15 for me. After popping everything was cleaned again. Every once in awhile my mom would paint my forehead with Betadine at night before bed. I could get 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of gunk out a night. By my sophomore year I was pretty clear skinned. I do know the few times I ended up leaving one because it was deep it would eventually scar.

You are right. I am older than you, but I remember some of friends had acne issues. Back in the day, everyone was using Clearasil.

Roakkutan is only effectiv and exact treatment. This medicine dries full body. Every acne goes out. I used this medicine. A little bit hard thing. You are getting completely dry. You should nourish lips, hands, skin every hour. And there are many difficult back sides.

Thank you for being so intuitive to your teenage clients , female and male young ones who think that they can be incontrovertible of their own care. It's refreshing to know that there's a grown man that actually acknowledged that these independent teens that most of parents strive to raise may need just a tad help from other adult professionals or parents in their lives to help coach them and help them build up their self esteem. Thank you for ultimately trying to do this. I'm very sick as in terminal. I've lived a relatively good life with my daughter whom I missed her 5th and 6th months and I the last 6 weeks I have been working on closing Momma's estate because she died 2 days after my 48 birthday. I know that I have been in a deep mood of depression and anxiety since Momma passed away. 💔

Sharp tip of a 16 guage I get it,but the sharp tip of a 27 guage is big enough and if you need to dislodge the enpaction you can better use the smaller needle. You are doing a fine job . I enjoy your videos.
