The Binbok VR T3 with replaceable batteries & its own battery charging dock works better than the Bobo for the Quest 3. The Binbok batteries properly charge the Quest 3. I use this in conjunction with the official Quest 3 dock & the Meta grips.

Same. I have 2 binbok straps. 1 for me and one for my stepson and both of them are perfectly silent. I also got us the meta docks and they work great even with the meta battery cover knuckle straps. 20 watts quick charging? That's impressive. I personally don't like the idea of having to lug an extra thing around. Would more prefer to have it incorporated onto the headset. But it looks like this company offers a lot. Hope they reach out.

Why is every reviewer I see sleeping on the binbok battery headstrap? Been using one for a while. It's comfortable and has not 1 but 2 hot swappable 8,000 mAH batteries with a charging dock. I've gotten 7 straight hours of gaming on a Q3 in wireless pcvr with all options maxed with battery to spare. And it's only $100.

I think you're trying to say "why isn't Binbok reaching out to people for reviews?" It's a good question.
@gravdigr278 ай бұрын
@bringhurstvr So viewers only deserve reviews pimped out to content creators by the companies that make the products? I know that's not what you are saying. Companies should market their products. But reviews should also not only be based on whether a company reached out and/or supplied a product to a creator.
@bringhurstvr8 ай бұрын
@@gravdigr27 you're welcome to join my KZbin memberships any time you want. Then I'd be making $4 a month instead of $3. After a year I'll be able to buy it so you finally get the review you want. Until then I'll keep doing the best I can, at the expense of suffering stuff like this. I give positive reviews to something like 30% of the things I'm sent. What a terrible take.
@gravdigr278 ай бұрын
Because you are the only reviewer out there? Not once did I mention you by name or channel. I said "reviewers". Some of which I see with ten of thousands of dollars of gear hanging on their walls. One I think has every vr headset ever made on a rack behind him. Haptic vests and treadmills, gun stocks with haptic butts more expensive than the vr headset. Don't even got me started on v tuber setups. Yet not one can make enough on a video to justify adding a $100 battery strap. I have my own streaming channel to care for where I personally provide all the items for my giveaways. From $10 gift cards to $300 ships in star citizen. Sorry I can't afford to financially support another channel's content as well. I work 60 hours a week in addition to streaming and raising my 5mo old daughter and just don't have the time to manage and edit for my own KZbin channel or I'd put out a review myself. All snark aside, which you started by the way, I do enjoy your content, have been subscribed to for a while, and will continue to watch. My only concern was why such a good piece of hardware is being seemingly ignored by every reviewer, including those who love to say "I'm not sponsored by insert company and bought this with my own money." Is binbok that unknown? Are there issues? Or is it just that no one will review their product because they aren't providing them to reviewers. It seems the latter may be the case which is concerning. Not throwing hate, just giving a viewer's observation
@bringhurstvr8 ай бұрын
@@gravdigr27 I get approached by dozens of Chinese companies to review their stuff. Half the time it's not worth reviewing. The rest of the time I'm reaching out to businesses that sell something I want to review. I reached out to Binbok two weeks ago after the first mention came in. They haven't responded. I'm a walking, talking, embodiment of snark. You might have been talking about someone else but it was said in my thread. I guess I started it in the sense that I responded at all.

is it possible to track you “walking” in skyrim using the meta quest 3? if so, do I need any accessories? I have seen a girl walking with vr, but the movement was like a “walking in place”, similar to a “run in place” exercise.
@bringhurstvr9 ай бұрын
If you're using the Quest 3 for PCVR, there are a couple treadmills that pull that off, but they're between $2k and $5k. There are also some shoes that do the same thing. You'd sit in a chair and slide them across the floor, mimicking walking. That solution is pretty dumb though.

Hey bro. Love your channel. So I want to get the protube grips but I eventually want to get the provolver. Which grips do I get. If I'm not using the stock will both grips they sell work?
@bringhurstvr8 ай бұрын
I don't have the ProVolver yet, but I should have one by March. Looking at it, I think the haptic device is attached to the controller grip, so it wouldn't be interchangeable with the ProTube grips. I have the grips for the gunstock and use them regularly with and without the full rig. The magnets don't bother me. But if you don't plan on getting the MagTube I think the standard hand grips will be cheaper. If that kind of answers your question.

do you have issues with casting? when i cast my quest to my phone or tv what’s being displayed is off center. its tilted up a bit and what im directly looking at isn’t in frame on the bottom half of the screen
@bringhurstvr9 ай бұрын
A: You can choose whether it's the left or right eye that's being cast. Could have something to do with it. B: Meta, in their infinite wisdom is discontinuing the ability to use chrome cast. It's slowly "unrolling" out, and this could be an early side effect.
