Luisa, I found this video very interesting. My art room is a bit chaotic so this could really transform my process. Thanks for sharing. 😊

My mind is always chaotic, I love making journals they relax me, but it's the initial starting of one that bugs me. I like your sorting system; I sort all my stuff into colored boxes with labels on the front of them. Can't wait to see what you make from all these lovely red bits and pieces.

Thank heavens for this ....i collect bits ....get lots of ideas ....then Bammm Chaos!!! I look at it lately ....sigh ....panic sets in ...and think to myself...what am i doing?? Slumps in chair ...head in hands ...ok coffee in hand ...lets see what Luise would do.❤

I have all the stuff collected for several journals stuffed into stacking baskets, which works for storage, but not for working on the project. Pulling everything together in such a way that you can find/remember/see all the items is a brilliant idea. Thank you for sharing, Luise.

I just love this. I do quite similar but in a down and dirty way...I just put things in several plastic zip bags sorted similarly to yours, that I use over and over for projects. I can't wait to see this fabulous red/black/brown journal. I'm so intrigued!

Wow, I always love your video content and wanted to say this is the best video I have watched of all the journal makers I am following (which are many). It is the most helpful for me as I often loose momentum when I can’t find the components for a project and after I waste precious time trying to find things, I get tired and don’t want to continue. I will put your ideas into practice. I also wanted to say I purchased your recent printable which is based on your new gorgeous piece of furniture. I didn’t leave a comment on Etsy as I didn’t realise I could so do until I had finalised the purchase, so I wanted to tell you I am excited to use the truely original labels and appreciate your hard work. I look forward to your videos.

Yes❤! THANKYOU! I also love making junk journals but i am always rummaging for what i want even though i have the basic things sorted. No one has ever explained this kind of sorting to me! I have a plastic container with compartments, i can use. This is extremely useful! New Subscriber 📚✉📏✂️🇭🇲💖

👏👏👏 Bravo Luise! I did notice you used some great vocabulary words, like CONCRETE & DIFFUSE. This is such a treat for me to hear. Noting stood out to me as terrible errors in usage, I will think about it. I will say that the "bling bling" things are called CABOCHONS, pronounced "kab-oh-shawns" as it is a French word. I'm writing this late at night and I'm tired,. The minischrenk is so so useful. Did you know that the word FLOW comes from a Hungarian psychologist specilizing in creativity studies. His name is Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. I thought you might enjoy knowing this. Cheers!

I love the altered drawers! I just wasn't sure why you used paper for the front of the drawer panels, instead of painting them. I could definitely use something like that but no more room!

You must have been reading my mind during the last week. How am I to store my ephemera, clusters and ready made journal inserts? Should I have them on my work surface, next to it, or in the China cabinet (very large storage unit) to bring to the table when I need it?
