Thanks for the build Isaac. Good points all around. One problem with the shotty is that even though the sprint to fire is slower than the Lachman, people aren’t sprinting with the shotty. They are crouched in a corner either already ADS’d or ready to hip fire. I’m still running a sub, I’m just running and trying to put some distance between me and harm’s way :).

Yeah that was my thoughts is most people are just hip firing it. That’s the whole thing about shotguns not taking skill is you just hip fire the shit out of it. Even if they nerf it it’s still going to be broken just watch. Just like the rpk nerf it’s still dominant

I didn't use it more zone, but it's also pretty effective in multiplayer as well. I really like it when paired with another weapon that's larger and slower, so that I can swap to it to run quickly across the map.

Fire shotty was fun at first but now it needs to go. Hopefully there's a balance patch in the mid season update. Once it goes we will have 2 very competitive SMGs that are neck and neck being the new meta. I'm talking about the Lachman Sub and the Vaznev.

I haven't played since just after the release. I enjoyed the story. I can't get jiggy with the mechanical changes to the game. I loved how smooth verdansk and rebirth ran. I don't enjoy the game this time around. I can't pinpoint it. It's really good, just not quite there.

It's just a diff game. Wz2 shouldn't play like wz1 or what's the point of a new game. It's meant to be tacticle and play slower. More about positioning and start than movement

Isaac try the max strafe P90 for this, insane mobility and nearly 20 meters range, integrated reflex sight, series IX barrel, stip 40 rear grip, strafe stock, then your choice between a muzzle or laser. Tune everything you possibly can for mobility, this thing reminds me of the old FFAR and it will break aim assist up close at least enoufh to make the fire shotty miss pellets and have a 3 shot kill. The MP5 will kill faster up to 8 meters but you don't want to be within 8 meters vs the shotty and if you are, the mobility difference is immense, an even bigger gap than your MP5 build difference. The P90 will break aim assist vs weaker players, it's that fast

The Glory Days of verdansk for me was the Bruen meta. Seasons 3-5 of WZ1, were some of my favorite times. I have lost all enjoyment of call of duty lately. I only play it now because I have no friends outside of COD. It's hard for me to make friends in games., so I just have to stick with it.

I don’t think that’s why for the audio on wz1, almost nobody rocked heartbeats when caldera came out, the audio was non existent in the beginning but eventually got better, I heard people all the time in wz1 and could tell which floor they were on or which direction

But they have to come out of that toilet at some point :D Also, I've used the lockwood since it kills faster and longer than broadside. And it's fun to do something else than exact meta. I think this build will help but the strafe speed will only be beneficial for people ADSing. Most people are hip-fire spamming and the bullet spread is still going to get you. Good news is only 3 days until they nerf the broadside :)

Honestly if it wasn't for the broadside the game would be well balanced right now. lachman, vaznev, if you want a bit more range then hurricane or pdsw. kastov 762, rpk, mg38, raal, iso for mid to long. So many viable options right now and broadside is just ruining everything. tbh it hasn't been terrible the last few days tho. I think people know it's getting nerfed and are starting to move on.

LOL not even close. Broadside evened a lot of the playing field. It's only good within a few meters, the range n fire ammo will get nerfed I dont anything else will. Besides, there are other shotguns you can use, one thats is better then the broadside. Game is far very far from being balanced. It'll never ever be balanced because the devs just dont know how to. It was a issue throughout W1. Still a issue in W2. Simply nerfing a gun isnt balancing a gun.

You need to delete any saved MP5 loadouts using a blueprint cuz they're bugged. Same happened to me. Just remake them without the blueprint, use the base gun.
