If I may offer my humble two cents! My now husband and I found our DREAM apartment in Clinton hill- the cutest neighborhood in bk imo and I used to live in cobble hill for a super long time 💅 there is NO laundry in unit OR in building. We drop our laundry off down the street at a very sweet wash n fold laundromat. They know our names and our preferences. They hang dry most of my clothes in their backyard outside. Yes it’s more expensive but not as much as you’d think. Only slightly more than diy laundromats. Just throwing it out there if you find your dream place, this is still an option!!

Kristen, I had SERIOUS acid reflux/indigestion/GI issues, it was so bad to the point I was waking up in the middle of the night unable to sleep or lay down flat and super nauseous in the mornings, unable to eat due to it all, etc. Eating this specific sauerkraut with beet and ginger, a spoonful a day, basically cured the symptoms I was having and seriously saved me!!! I was skeptical taking the extra strength heartburn medications they give because it’s also not great to take those either. Just wanted to share as I share this with literally anyone I talk to that has any sort of stomach issues especially with the esophagus. I hope you heal up soon, I know how rough stomach problems can be 😣

I have stomach issues and have been dealing with them for nearly 2 years now. When i first went to see my family dr for it, i explained similar pain, similar reactions to the same foods, just nothing was the same as it had been my whole life. the first thing she asked me was if i had ever tested positive for covid and what my experience was like. she told me with certain variants they were damaging something in your stomach and basically killing all of the good bacteria in your belly which made it so so much harder to digest heavier foods. she recommended i take a pre/probiotics, eat a lot of foods that are probiotic heavy to basically rebuild the good bacteria in my gut. lowkey it worked lol but as time goes on my diet changes to be unhealthy at times and now my family dr and specialist are looking to see if maybe i’ve developed a gluten allergy. no food will give you instant damage like that unless it’s food poisoning, chances are you already just have underlying issues that have been going ignored/unnoticed as gas/a bad stomach/anxiety. i hope you are able to figure it out, i live in Canada so our healthcare system is very slow to take care of us.

wow I just checked my own sign and I’m a giraffe (and giraffes were ALWAYS my favourite animal growing up, but I never had a distinct reason). and my parents thought it was so funny that I had such an unusual fav animal so my entire room was filled to the brim with giraffe toys, painings, stuffed animals etc. Now I know why!!! I resonated so much with my sign🥹

I laughed harder than I should with you talking about Michael Faraday 😂 We learn about him at school here in Brazil, so just for fun here's something for you: he was in his 40s when he conducted the experiment known as the Faraday Cage, which in simple terms, is a structure that blocks electric fields from passing through, by redistributing electric charges on its surface, effectively canceling out the electrical field inside the cage. So, if you're inside, you’re protected from external electrical forces, like lightning or electric shocks. That's actually how cars work, when struck by lightning, the electrical current passes around the outer metal frame of the car, keeping the inside and whoever is in it safe. Only 5 mins in so far and Kristen, as a gerd girlie I feel your pain and I’m so sorry you’re dealing with it 😓 I have to take meds 40mg twice a day for mine and sometimes it’s still so bad I have to eat a bunch of tums. I hope you get answers soon 🥰

You should both look into red light therapy! I did red light therapy treatments last winter and it really helped my seasonal depression! At certain spa’s they have red light therapy in the form of a tanning bed so it feels just like tanning but without the harmful effects of tanning🥰 and the added bonus of all the positive effects red light therapy can have on your skin
