I’ve only just subscribed to your channel but I’ve been watching you for about two weeks . I’m from the Llynfi valley and I am now living in Bridgend and I miss the mountains more than I ever thought I would .

Good that you are sticking to your plan of action and not changing your mind. Keep going and you will soon find the right place for yourself and your lovely cats. Look forward to some interesting videos of your new life.

You can always grow in pots till you find a garden/allotment. I bought a few builders buckets to grow a few things on my patio. Certainly a few French beans will be quite happy in a bucket. Good luck Sean, its a big change but you are the perfect age to do it.

Sean, Take it all in… sights sounds, smells… because there will be a day when you won’t be able to experience it due to changes in geography, or life circumstances. Please continue doing your videos wherever you land, and may it be a blessing to you.

Thanks Sean that's great, Abergavenny has a food festival every year in September, and there's the millennium tapestry in the tithe barn. Lots of towns, as you know, to visit, and we look forward to you doing vlogs around and about.

Far be it for me to question your life decisions Sean, but you are moving from an area that has a draconian leader who has nothing but contempt for the population, and is taking the area backwards, to Wales, where ……… Good luck sir!

Just found this video Sean and I pass the roots allotment near bath every week on my way to Wales I've seen it since it started but sadly it appears now to be only 50% full quite sad to see really.

Sean!! I'm so excited for you!! My experience in moving has always been that, once you've rented, you'll find where you would really like to live. I always found I need to be in the area and get to the know the people. I agree with you about choice. Of course, we're blessed to have choice, but limited choices also engender a different lifestyle which can be just as rewarding. You sound like you don't really want another allotment for a while. You might want to hold off unless you learn that allotments are scarce and you should grab what you can. I think you've made the right choice at the right time. I wasn't so prescient as you and now will be moving in my old age. Of course, I grew up with a dad in the U.S. Army so never had a place where we called home because we moved every two years. Yes, having cats requires more effort to find rentals which was why I haven't gotten any pets after my last cat died, but they are wonderfully funny companions, and I can't wait to have them again. So much good luck sent your way!!

Great that they are electrifying the railways there at last. House prices will go up I think as like you say it will not take too long to get to Cardiff.

I,m sure you will be taking a trip up to Abergavenny (hoping the weather is fine that is!) As for your return to Wales, I,m sure there will be a welcome in the hillside etc etc,,,

In Wales when you go to any service in church or chapel the English churches do very well in song but the Welsh Chapels make you feel you are in the Albert hall with full choir, Wales truly is The Land Of Song you are born to it Sean

Good to have a plan. I imagine if you found a reasonable job then this would more than pay for the rents of all your tenancies put together. So if you had a better income you might feel you could walk away at any time. Right boyo, I am about to go and visit Wales. See you on the other side. Hwyl!
