Someone told me that looking at a marriage in a transactional approach is not biblical - love bank. What do you say to that or are there any scriptures that support this concept?

When someone uses the phrase transactional approach in relationships, it sounds like they mean reciprocity. “ if I do this for you, I’m expecting you to do that for me.” That sounds more like a business relationship more than a romantic one. However, if you can see your efforts being independent of what your partner does, then that would be supported by traditional values.
