Is it ok to put a cover on my RV for a few months during the winter?

However, your dealership would be the best resource to speak to regarding recommendations for aftermarket products out there. Please keep in mind you don't want moisture to get trapped between the cover and the RV. However, you do want to protect your investment while storing it! So you turned the comments off on the video I was hoping to ask a question on… In regards to the roof bubbling, you said a bubble could form from the glues curing process. I’m literally waiting to sign papers on a 2022 Arcadia today because I climbed up on top of it and the entire roof was one gigantic bubble. Is this supposed to be a normal thing? Hoping for some answers. Thanks so much.

Yes, this a video with our direction and recommendation. All roofing will come with self-leveling lap sealant and if you have your VIN we can check your specific unit. Thank you.

Please please please include that petroleum based sealants are NOT compatible with keystone roof material. I purchased the 1021 and it bubbled my roof. I'm hoping to save it with eternabond tape, but it is severely damaged. I wish this info was on this video as this is where I went to ensure I purchased the recommended sealant.

​@@KeystoneRVCompanyreferring to the alpha bond tape mentioned.. using it as A) the main sealant purpose and B) for repairs due to a damage that either wasn't protruding or potentially could be protruding to protect the rest of it

Yes good to know. Change out the 1/4 sheet metal screws holding the metal trim. Cap. The screws are not the correct type. Key Stone will not warrenty there deign. The screws are stripped out allowing water to drain into the walls. This plastic cap must be inspected yearly. It will split in hot or cold weather. Opening up a gap for water to drain into the stripped out screw. A 1 inch 1/4 sheet metal screws Is not the proper design. You need to replace with a 1 1/2 inch long pole barn screw. Or a 2 inch long pole barn screw. Caulk under the metal trim piece with Di Core. And fasten down the trim piece. Compress caulking with wet finger to seal joint. A pole barn screw has a metal cap and rubber grommet this seals the hole that caused the leak into the side wall. Separating the Luan ply wood. This plywood’s is not the proper material for this application. Call Dan if any questions. 1 812 461/7878.
