silence is strength, it is protection against the cruelty of the world. when you engage you are giving them what they want. with silence you are saying more than you would with words. a simple look of understanding and a smile is enough to undo them. all of this allows you to gain your power back and let them know they cannot shake you. silence allows for the other to sit with themselves and see themselves for who they are without being able to to shift the pain on to you
