I've taken back flatspotted bones stfs in the past to some Vans stores and got hooked up w new replacements. I just told them the skate1 said to do it and boom! lol

i had two pairs of thunder lows from the '90s, still have them actually, i really liked how they skated but they both slipped axles and it soured me on the brand ever since. independent supposedly warranties against defects/failures until they are ground to the axle. i got some bones x97 wheels and they had some cosmetic defects, bubbles in the sidewall like you usually see in the bearing seat. probably wouldn't have affected how they skate, they were a bit dismissive at first but when i sent photos they sent me 2 more pairs same size and shape(56mm v6). good customer service is huge.

I've caught boards breaking from one now sellout company that have had holes cut in veneer then filled/patched it with other pieces back in maybe 2009. Well call it swindle distribution and the deck was... Almost a professional company I guess 😂

@@TheBeando i had one of the double impacts with the fiber/resin layers, i had it for ten years. skated it pretty heavily the last 2 years, never did break it. just too soggy and razor-tailed, had to retire it. i had slid through several plies in spots

@@diplenski the double impact looked sick. Girl makes boards with the same style top layer called pop secret I still need to try and I can feel the having too much gear, I dropped street ledge skating for tech so boards wear down way slower these days

Deluxe gave me a hard time about a set of defective Spitfire wheels I got. They asked me to mail in my bad wheels. It was lame.
