Bang on Kris. I actively improved my social skills by improving my speech and practising on my own an hour daily for 3 months. A lot of people aren't actually socially awkward they're just not accustomed to saying the sentences that would make for a good conversation. Certain words put together feel a little odd for them to say because they havent said it enough times before. So they avoid certain social interactions further perpetuating the problem. Speech is a muscle you have to train and I would advise people to practise in there own time by reading aloud or talking to themselves when driving. Sound's weird but it worked for me.
@joeystarr47462 ай бұрын
How did you practice? What did you do?
@Gurshwakeup2 ай бұрын
@joeystarr4746 read fiction books out loud in a private area where you're not disturbing anyone. I practised in my car usually after work and before gym. You want to really engage with the different characters in the book when you say there lines and train yourself to speak at different volumes cadences and with different inflections in your voice. Be creative with how you speak and be mindful of how you sound. Try this for a week one hour daily and I promise you you'll start to hear changes in your voice in day to day interactions and you'll be motivated to continue practising until you become a high level speaker.
@Gurshwakeup2 ай бұрын
@RandomFactVolt my current endeavour is copywriting so I'm speaking to strangers quite often. I'm not a part of any online communities, they can be great but I don't have any issues with holding myself accountable. That sounds interesting bro wish you all the best with that and yeah it'll definitely help you become a better speaker. It all just comes down to volume, there's a reason why Hollywood actors speak more professionally and with more resonance than the average person, its because they're constantly rehearsing lines and playing with there voice. Anyone can get to that level.

Just be yourself around women, and keep your calm if things don't go as planned. First impression is really important, so you should check out 'First date playbook: A step by step guide to a great start'. It should help you to understand how women think, and you will have examples on how to behave in any given situation. But the most important thing is to be yourself, and be honest with your intentions.

People isolate themselves because they likely don’t have the money to live the life they want. So better to stay in, learn new skills, focus on an online business. Otherwise you’ll be stuck at a job you hate forever. Kris said to work on weekends. It paid off for him in his 30s

Same facts it’s a made up term no one wants to be introverted
@rockyblumble2 ай бұрын
It‘s hard to cultivate quality friendships and relationships, it‘s a lot easier to stay in and tell yourself that you „enjoy being alone“. I‘m sure some people are actual introverts, but I think many people aren‘t and just tell themselves that to feel better about their crap social lives

My brain is solely focused on seeking valuable information. I have no issue chatting to people when I know I will obtain valuable information from them, man or women. However "chatting up" women, or flirting with women has always been a nuisance for me. I feel like I have to "dumb myself down" or speak about low-brow topics or speak "indirectly" with low-brow barbs, quips etc. Its like I have to put on a character and dance on a pinhead to "Entertain" them. This repulses me. I have never seen my father converse with my mother outside of commands, "prepare this meal, be ready by 5pm, etc". So chatting up women for the sake of chatting them up has never ever made sense to me. Women are child like, do you enjoy conversing with children for extended periods of time? I dont. I pat them on the head and keep it moving. When I go on dates I usually just be authentic and tell women "my story" which I know they like and I can see them tingling. But when it comes to "keeping it light" and talking about low-brow garbage of the day, I just dont care to participate and I think women categorize me as "boring" or "dull". Bring up science, technology, buisness, fitenss, politics and we can talk for HOURS. Low-brow garbage like the show a women is currently watchign on Netflix - gIve me a break. I would be glad to take any advice from the gentlemen who understand what I'm saying and possibly reframe my mindset.
@pey10bogvkuehl292 ай бұрын
While it’s important you’re focused on sophisticated topics and you’re constantly wanting to gain useful information, it doesn’t hurt to be well versed in a variety of topics. Even the “low-brow” and “garbage” it just makes you a more sociable and versatile person. No need to reframe your entire mindset, it’s just going to take that much longer to find the people who you genuinely get on with. You know it’s worth the wait though.
