Definitely think there’s a balance to be had here. I’m 24, financially doing very well, gym 4-5x a week, sports / cardio 3-5x a week, good social life etc. Think you can still do the fun stuff- going out, live sports, weekends away, social things in general in moderation BUT you have to commit to doing the work and that is always the rule. So you may miss out on some stuff, but I don’t think it’s black / white. Especially with the energy you have early 20s, 12-14 hour work days aren’t that tough

Agreed. I’m 26 now. Software engineer by trade. When I was 23 a startup that I built was acquired by one of the companies I was licensing my software to. I would’ve burnt out and died if I didn’t have balance as I was building my business/software. It was slower, but it was niche and no one knew what I was doing so it was highly improbable at that point for anyone to swoop in and build a competitor. Having balance allowed me to keep going. Don’t kill yourselves boys. Hard work will not beat smart work.

Kris, I can’t remember which video it was but it was a recent video. In it you said something like “it’s worth it to fight to get to the top, even if you’re 50 and only get to experience it a few years.” Man recently I learned that Blackbeard, yes Blackbeard the famous pirate, was literally only a pirate for 2 years. And people still talk about him today. It’s amazing frankly. He was also believed to be 35-40 at the time of his death. Haha you should make a Blackbeard male advantage journey that would be awesome!

6:35 there are PLENTY of guys who have their lives together. The problem with these women you speak about is that they're run through by other men, and by the time they want to settle down they're nearing 30 and realized that these men aren't in abundance anymore because a smarter woman has already got them.

What i Dont understand, you preach to work hard and become successful, which causes you to go through way more stress, which ages you compared to a low stress normal job guy. How does that work? You”ll look older, that’s why theres a stereotype that rich guys are old fat bastards
@who_is_dis6 күн бұрын
A lot of that hard work he talks about is work geared to taking care of yourself. That should take priority #1 and it compounds over time (which he’s gone into before). If you’re doing that well, working hard shouldn’t be killing you, you should have the energy and capacity for it. He’s also spoken about how if you’re all over the place and doing non stop work and stressing etc - you’re essentially fucking up system wise. Also a lot of people in normal jobs tend to sleep walk into a sedentary, purposeless life / routine and pair it with poor coping habits like drinking on weekends / smoking etc. That stresses your body a hell of a lot more.
