Your Song - Elton John (cover by Coby Grant and Ruby Gill)

Hello everyone!
Ruby Gill and I went in to The Aviary Studios in Collingwood to record a live version of an original song we wrote together and at the end of the session we had fifteen minutes spare so we decided to do a quick cover.
This was only the second time we had performed this tune together but it's a song we both know and love. Filmed by the very talented Delsinki.

Zusammen mit Ruby war ich in den "The Aviary Studios" in Collingwood. Wir haben zusammen einen Song geschrieben und davon dort eine Live-Version aufgenommen. Nach der Aufnahme hatten wir noch 15 Minuten Zeit und haben einfach mal spontan dieses Lied hier probiert. Dies war erst das zweite Mal, dass wir diesen Cover-Song zusammen gespielt haben, den wir beide wirklich sehr lieben. Das Ganze wurde gefilmt vom talentierten Delsinki.
Hoffentlich gefällt euch die Version genauso sehr wie mir.

All the lyrics in Elton John's music are written by Bernie Taupin. It always amazes me that people credit Elton John for his work. Elton John is an instrumentalist, singer and performer, but Bernie Taupin pens all the lyrics. Why isn't he Sir Bernie Taupin I often wonder? So unfair.
