Can relate. I'm 50 now & on the rare occassion I do workout, my bones & muscles feel like I've been mugged by someone with a crowbar 💀

I'm 72. My hardest job is mowing my yard, which isn't very large, but at 72 looks massive! I dread it every week from April thru October. I get it done, but it takes almost all day now, compared to the hour and a half it did take. 🥵

@kathrynnorman778 it's sad because I hope for the snow to look at but I know shoveling it is killer. I've found if I time everything right and am prepared I will go out and shovel every so often depending on how heavy it's falling and that helps so much. Sadly though here in Northern Virginia we haven't been getting much snow at all past few years.

yes, exercise keeps you fit, but the only way to drop weight is by consuming fewer calories. and it's all about how mentally young you are. once you start bemoaning how "old" you feel, you definitely will age faster, physically and mentally.

I feel like I'm 2 billion years old! I'm half way to being a God. All this bemoaning has accelerated my being into some omnipotent blob of flesh. Everytime I shift the folds of my flesh make small poop noises

@sarahlouise7163 you don't know my life I'm not having a good time here so sooner the better I honestly don't plan on getting married or having children I have mental and physical health issues and wouldn't want to pass that bs on to them and wouldn't want a woman to deal with me on my darkest day hopefully theres a after life but if not I'm really looking forward to non-existence I still don't have the balls to commit suicide but hopefully one day I pull it off clean don't want to end up in a hospital bed as a vegetable like I get it that life is this amazing miracle and I should be grateful that I exist but mostly life sucks and its a struggle and if your lucky you get a respite of joy and happiness but it fades and is mostly a waste cuz everything erodes and decays and the universe will end up achieving heat death anyway looking forward to oblivion just hope we don't end up in post-apocalyptic hellscape even though we're pretty much there

Yeah but 2,500 calories isn’t much is it?? !! 🤨 when I’m on a diet I watch that show ‘NAKED AND AFRAID’ where two disrobed strangers meet in a jungle or a croc infested swampland in an attempt to survive for 21 days… it’s weird because all these apparent skilled survivalists seem to have ZERO capacity to catch their own food! they’re soo hungry for most of the challenge and often sopping wet, eaten alive by mossies and freezing to boot! It’s seriously brutal but helps keep me track …. with 15kgs to go here comes season 4 ….
