This year I’ve started journaling again, something I haven’t done since I was a teenager, I am about to be 42. I stopped journaling because a family member read my journal and joked about its content, I really think I was traumatized by the incident. I started writing recently and I felt such mixed emotions but I am so proud to be confronting this seemingly insignificant insecurity.

Journaling has carried me through many tough and lonely times. I tell people that I don’t know how I feel about something until I write it down. Journaling has a wonderful way of relaxing my mind enough to let my real thoughts and emotions surface. I’m so glad you rediscovered it 💕

I have completely changed my life thanks to TFU. I went from a wall flower to center stage (actually it turned out to be more of a "who the hell do you think you are" type of vibe but I am good with it). The hobby I am taking up this year is I am going to start beauty school and learn to do skin and nails. The goal for this year is to name my price, move in silence and leisurely hustle my way into something new. I will tell you TFU family I had to make a hard decision last week. I broke up with my bf. While I love him I want to be married and he was talking about moving in. No thank you-I am not that woman so I let him go. The breakup was hard but regret and settling would be harder. Maybe that is what I am proud of.

God has completely turned my life around. He has been changing me from the inside out for the better. He took me from low-self esteem, abuse from myself as well as others, and living a sinful life to a life full of peace, His love and constant help, and has taught me how to take care and love myself again. He's given me goals to accomplish when I had none and has blessed me to do the things that I never could imagine I would do. I will brag about my God and all of the great things that He is and that He has done for me. And I do not doubt that He has used this channel to speak to me, as well as His other daughters... This may sound small or ordinary to some people, but at 24 I decided to stop pursuing an arts degree, despite that being my talent and area I’ve existed in since I was young. Yet, I have had a dream since I was young of being a biologist. I looked up to great scientists and researchers, but I thought I couldn’t do it because my math skills aren’t at the top of my skills list. But I’m very good at biology, at the experiments and the knowledge required. So I did it, I started pursuing a bachelor’s in science. And now I’m two years in, and even though I feel fear all the time when I have to do math, I now know that this is my path.

5 years ago I felt very nervous and excited to join a big organization that would pay me to be their face in the artistic and entertainment way. I failed the first time I tried. It took me a year to prepare and go for it again. I have grown so much personally and professionally and I thank the Most High and now I am shifting to the I am the business mindset preparing for the next chapter. I love your channel. Thank you ❤

Ill be celebrating three years of sobriety in May, and I'm truly so proud of myself! I've also grown my relationship with God❤ Im currently working on controlling my anxious feelings and trying my best to be decisive on what I want and learning to be more comfortable with my relationship with money and having a better financial mindset. Sometimes, it's overwhelming but I try to show myself alot of grace in those times. 😊❤

After being a stay at home mom and wife, I’ve started my career and after a few years of dedicated hard work, I’ve been promoted to the top of my program. It feels surreal because I always felt “late to the party “ but I’m learning I was right on time. 😊

I’ve began shining my light unapologetically even when I’m nervous and it’s been amazing. I have been focusing on my self concept and beliefs ! Remembering my worth and showing myself grace. Changing my self image. Embracing all parts of me that I sometimes wanna hide. & finding a workout routine that works for me. Choosing myself more.

Being single for so long has healed my abandonment wound. I no longer beg people to stay or act the way I want them to act, I access them to see if they’re worth the peace I’ve built for myself while being single. I love it here so much that I wouldn’t mind being single for a lifetime!

I got promoted as a practice manager 6 months ago, and I ended the year with the top hospital in my market! My hospital is also crushing all of our metrics this year so far. I'm so proud of myself and my team because I really doubted myself at first, and I was so afraid of failing, but I've proved to myself that I'm capable. 💪🏾🙌🏾

I’m walking more in the joy of the Lord, have become more unbothered with negativity from others, lost a little weight over the past week and took more time for my appearance in the mornings. And kept lip gloss on throughout the days.

Thank you for emphasizing no more bare minimum. I needed that reminder. How can I expect a wonderful life while coming from a minimum mindset - expecting minimal quality, putting in minimal efforts...

Step into your greatness does not negate the bad days, but it compels you to do what you are afraid of nonetheless. I love this. I used to always check myself, and this thirst for perfection stagnated me. Thank you so much mama.
