I have been into a worst environment I could possibly be for 3 years. It changed me completely, unconsciously consumed the media that I shouldn't have. Got some personality traits that made me more worse. I forgot who I used to be. Over reacting to things, getting emotional, procrastinating, getting anxious, loosing control, getting addicted to screen, eating junk, Resisting to work, sleep. Finally, at a point of losing my sanity. Things are not easy anymore. Just realized how a short time of influence, conformity can change our whole life upside down. Especially Instagram reels, memes, unnecessary consumption, playing chess online, porn, being with mediocre mindsets. I have to plan and focus on my goals, else I will never get out of this shit.

Being around mediocre minds is one of the hardest things to get rid of, especially if they are part of your routine. When you try suggest they do something better or something about their problems, they respond “No, that’s just the way it is for me” or “I can’t do that, it’s too hard for me” They often talk about silly things constantly like complaining about people or more and more complaining. Then it gets in your mind and you begin to do it too - then you realise it but it’s hard to get rid of - especially when you are around those people. At least this channel provides a space where people who want self improvement and have insight can come together.

@@Bubblereeds that must be hard bro, but keep doing what you gotta do.. idk maybe get them also into it? Not sure wether getting them also into self improvement is a good idea because they wont do it unless they need for it, like you do. Maybe they'll see something maybe they wont.

The Internet ruined my life, but in the end, I chose for it to ruin me. I hope too that I will be able to get out of this.

Just into that hole too boys, my downfall came when I lost my driving license over a spliff then for the next 2 years and a half I lived in pure misery just consuming all the crap online/offline. I started taking action 3 months ago and its vert hard especially when now I have no masculine presence that I can really call a "friend" only my girl and my mom wich i provide and care for. I hope we all progress and step up our plans and strategies and we'll unite one day! Stay safe and healthy

Maybe try show them these videos, try have a deep conversation with them about something else at first to spark that part of their mind, then subtly mention it - so that they in a mood to think about it. It’s difficult to help people though, they aren’t always willing to

They need to somehow see the need or sort of aesthetic of the self improvement thing. Maybe you can start by telling him about lookxmaxxing(which most people now greatly aware of because its instictive thing like you naturally would want to improve your looks) i know lookxmaxxing isnt part of the conventional old self improvement phenomenon but I think it has more reach than the conventional self improvement. I think what attracts people most is the aesthetic of things which we want to assocuate with ourselves infact we have gotten been attracted to self improvement same way i think

This is interesting cause I’ve felt like I have 2 voices in my head saying 2 different things. One is me, where I’m myself and the other voice is maybe my subconscious where it’s not myself, it’s full of random and bad thoughts that I have to constantly not pay any attention to or tell the thoughts to stop. I do have some mental issues tho so maybe that’s just me. Still interesting tho

@@JaoBehold I'll go for great literature or if you're into non fiction stuff that explains how the world and the mind works. The fabric of consent, why the west rules for now, Siddhartha's brain. Harari wasn't a bad suggestion I guess.
