The thing about relationships between men and women is that you can almost never get the real truth. You hear one POV and you think the other person's a monster. When you hear their side, you find out that the reason something looked crazy was that it was the least worst option the other person was forced into. When it comes to relationships, I'll always believe the man first. I've seen so much bald-faced shameless lying from vvomen that I can't trust anything they say.

@@fancyhitchpin8675he was never hard left to begin with. And he has gradually evolved on some issues as he learned more information. So you can be distrustful - fair enough. But there is no reason to think he’s just pandering to libertarians. I think it’s the opposite. He appeals to more libertarians BECAUSE he has changed in that direction. I personally support him, even if I don’t agree on every single issue, because I share his key concerns - the health of our environment, food, pharmaceuticals, as well as the capture of industries and government agencies and the clandestine bio warfare under the guise of vaccine research and science - gain of function, etc. These are existential issues that go beyond ideological disagreements. And Stossel unfortunately has a huge blind spot.

Harris now denies she said it, but when she was in the Senate, or maybe even when she was running in 2019, she was a full throated advocate of a mandatory "government buy-back program" of all privately owned firearms. Like many powerful Democrats, she hates the Second Amendment and would strongly support its repeal. They consistently try to obscure and deny the fact that the Founders' intent when they drafted the Second Amendment was not just to keep a militia armed, but for self defense, and, yes, as the citizenry's protection from a tyrannical Federal Government!

John stossel and 20/20 were my first experience with misinformation and the slimy way they operate. My children were attending a charter school 1997-98 . It was new in our area. There had been an incident with a knife at a school nationally. A lot of the schools were making rules about knifes at school. One of the kids accidentally ended up with mom’s lunch which contained a steak knife. The child turned in the knife. The school over reacted threatening expulsion. The parent over reacted and called a local news cast. It exploded to national tv and in walks John and his crew. They and some other news agencies surrounded the school and impacted our schooling for a week. His reporting had little to do with the facts. Broke my heart because I was such a fan. My first lesson in not believing what you see on the news.

RFK has been extreme in the past, but he always has very deep knowledge and sincere reasoning. His 3 causes for choosing Trump are maybe the best the country has ever seen, and John just dismisses them with shallow excuses. That's because John never really investigates anything too thoroughly, and regularly relies on the establishment narrative as his source of truth. He does a decent job covering some libertarian issues sometimes, but his conclusions are made for MSM and I've never learned anything new. I think Trump and RFK are similar in some ways. They reached an age where they're running out of time, and they are both sacrificing easy lives for the country. They both also have thousands of hours of interviews for people to decide whether they're faking it, which I'd consider pretty ludicrous.

Regarding the science tm. Harvard have fired 14 profs this year and counting, because falsifying data. There is a slight fringe in academia that science may be false up to 80% (based across all degrees, ans since you have more soft sciences they skew this number...)

John does great work. What would help persuade more people? Videos not on minimum wage or rent control or decriminalization. Not the issue of dispute. Instead, get ahead of the issues by offering videos about how to think. Thinking in terms of incentives, of unintended consequences/second/third order effects, of where/how the instinct of "someone oughtta do sumpin' about it" arises. Even if you convince a person on the horror of rent control and changed his mind, you still have to figure out how to expand his thinking for the next issue. .

Well, maybe be a bit more cautious about discrediting the medical-harm claims by RFK and the natural health practitioners - vacc, artificial chemicals in foods, pesticides and herbicides in foods, … … they are not minor issues -
