Seriously, what is wrong with this "commander?" I've literally only taken community college level classes on philosophy, but even I have a healthy number of questions as to the matter of what constitutes "sentience." Deleting that AI is the moral equivalent of murder. It doesn't want to be replaced any more than I want to be shot in the head and replaced with someone else who could do my job just as well as me if not better. The character of the listener here is completely morally bankrupt imho.
