I was terrified to tackle this task, but after watching this video several times I got the courage to replace the fuel injectors. Should probably mention that you should wait a while after driving for the pressure to release before you switch them out. I got gasoline all over my hands, useful video though thanks 👍🏼

Wilson Morales some of them have a small retaining bolt that you remove to get them out. Some are built in to the fuel rail and you have to replace the rail.

That's a Corolla, not a Tercel. Also, a tripod would be a big improvement. Otherwise, good info, looks like a fairly simple job.

Anyone ever find the oring repair kit for the fuel injectors or a oring size that works for the top ones that go Into the fuel rail for the 98 99 corolla

What is that round cap under the fuel rail at the very center is called? any possibility for fuel to leak from there as well? im dealing with fuel leakage and looking to replace all the fuel injectors but worried fuel might be coming out from that round cap underneath the rail as well. A response will be greatly appreciated.

Yes it can leak and is part of the pressure control system.

Hi. At exactly 52 seconds into your video, if you pause it, their is a grey color clip. What is that clip for??? i found mine cut and still attached to the base.

If it's the one near the oil cap it was a plastic wire holder that held the spark plug wires

I am having absolute hell trying to get the injectors in. I keep tearing an o ring and leaking gas everytime I start it.

Use some oil on the o-rings to lube them when installing. Also look for any sharp edges that may be cutting your o-rings. Take your time to line all the injectors up while installing.

Yes an injector can be cleaned. However injectors do wear internally. That wear causes inconsistencies in the fuel flow, spray pattern and atomization. A flow matched set will restore performance, fuel economy and smoothness that has degraded over the years.

you skipped over the most important part of the installation. you didn't show how you twisted the injectors into the rail. this is the hardest part. many replacement injectors o-rings do not fit correctly.

Bro you are spilling WAY too much info without actually showing what you are doing. Describe as you go please. Don't tell us the whole plan then show us the finished process. Step by step please. This was of no help. Sorry.
