A bit late to the party but if you're seeing this for the first time you can see on YT how hard Keanu trained for this role. There is footage of him at the range being trained and you can absolutely see why "John Wick" was so fluent and methodical with his weapons on film. This wasn't simply "movie magic"; Keanu actually became very adept with various firearms (and martial arts/fighting tactics - he trained with the Machado Brothers (BJJ Legends) as well). The man put the work in and it paid off tenfold because we look at the character of "John Wick" and totally believe the expertise the "lore" of John Wick suggests.

"Yes. It's John Wick. I'd like to make a dinner reservation for twelve." Notice the eight rounds fired before reload? It's either eight round capacity or tactical reload. Those dinner guests (and those in the catacombs in Part 2) gave away their positions while carrying flashlights.

There is a good chance that Jimmy is also part of the underground and that when the complaint came from Wick’s neighborhood he took the initiative to take the call first. In doing so he saves the lives of any number of police officers who would no doubt try to arrest Wick and get wasted in the attempt. Also: “why’s he so casual?” “lol because it’s Jersey”

It’s simple. Jimmy is a bought cop working for the Russian mob in the movie, that’s why he knows John due having dealt with past calls for him and what not.
@joekahno3 ай бұрын
They prettied it up some for the movie but it's a surprisingly common relationship between cops and criminals in high crime areas. I recall an incident several decades ago in the US where the fire department was called out to extinguish a burning garage and found that the owner of the place had been shot, stabbed, poisoned and hung before the arson took place. After pulling up the arrest record of the deceased the police closed the case, declaring it a suicide. As long as they were whacking each other and took reasonable care that no stray shots endangered innocent bystanders the "forces of law and order" had no desire to possibly get in the line of fire trying to keep the creeps alive.

Exhausted me just watching it every single step and and movement he made was coordinated down to the last microsecond some of the most impressive fight scenes, I have seen an action movie

Yes the tattoo on John Wicks' back is Latin. It means: "Fortune Favors the Bold." It's the slogan adopted by the 2nd Battalion 3rd Marine regiment (2/3). A Marine corps infantry units based out of Hawaii, USA. Which means at one point in his life he served for the United States Marine Corps. Btw: I'm so glad we got someone who speaks Russian who could CORRECTLY translate that lullaby Sung by Viggo.

There’s something I’m curious about regarding the John Wick movies, and I would love others’ input on it. I’ve brought it up with a friend before. How is it that there were people supposedly not part of the criminal world or not under the High Table that knew what John Wick did? Or knew who he was? How does a run of the mill police officer know that a guy in his assigned county or city used to be an assassin?😂 I think a firefighter from the 2nd movie knew as well, and the same police officer was there, too.
