Usefull tip❤ My mother prefers lemon in last rice wash instead of salt in rice which completely separates the rice grains and which prevents the jarda getting too sticky.

Quiet surprised to know that also on of the authentic Gujarati recipes known as "Meetho Bhat" is also very commonly prepared in Baisakhi or Ramzan... Feel soo close to different communities when you come to know such similarities... Food brings people together... Superb recipe as usual @chef...❤

Hi Chef, great recipe. I made this yesterday on Basant panchami. At my home we make yellow rice (meethe and namkeen) on this day. I added Saunf as well in the ghee, as that taste is nostalgia, my Grandma used to put. It's a great recipe. Many thanks 🙏
