We went to IGN Live, where Chris Barnardo of the Wand Company and I pitted the Pip-boy 3000 Mk IV against the new 3000 Mk V in the Pip-boy Challenge. A few years ago, people took the challenge to do all their daily activities wearing a Pip-boy. Now, we are testing which of us can last longest wearing the Pip-boy at a day long event. Omg, I can’t wait for the mk V to arrive on my doorstep! It just looks so cool awesome. I still think that they should add the flashlight on the screen like in the other pip boys though! I was also surprised that Chris didn’t even sweat in it and he was clearly moving the most lol.

Yeah flashlight would be amazing. I hope they add something like if you turn it on, the screen brightness goes up and that acts as a flashlight, just like in the games.

I pre-ordered mine through Mighty Ape with no colour choices available, will we be contacted to be asked if we want a particular colour? I also have to commend Chris for his dedication to this project and making it even better as it goes along. Adding an actual FM radio to it even though, originally, there was only going to be in game radio stations played, this is why I am so excited about the TOS Tricorder as well; I will be pre-ordering that as soon as it available to do so here in Australia. Also, if you know, what's the approximate operational time per battery charge of the Pip Boy?

Hoping they add a little more different colors too it, seems too much of a flat silver and more plastic due to that than anything. Also wondering how durable the paint is have you asked him if they have tried scuffing the non-diecast parts to see if the paint completely comes off?

Yeah, the leather on the pipboy 300 IV is bad. I also wore mine and it peeled off after wearing it for the day. Do love the idea they had in mind

July for the Pipboy 2000. I have discovered some things I missed in the last step. Also, been trying to have a shell done. I also have a module I have been working with a company to make for the whole thing. So, will be a big video. Chris and I have been buds for a few years now. Yes we will do more. @@YourGeekFix It's a Nokia c3, I'm using everything I have about Fallout to think about how it would be shaped, the holodisk input will be nothing more than a pendrive input. I don't use 3D printing. I use cardboard and hot glue because it holds up better.
