Hallo! I took a year of German in high school (over 10 years ago) but unfortunately didn't stick with it, mainly due to getting discouraged by my lack of understanding the grammatical differences and gender assignments. I have been watching alot of German shows lately such as Dark and Barbaren, and have decided I wanted to learn this beautiful language on my own. These videos have really encouraged me that this is feasible with time and patience. You are a great teacher! Danke schön!

So I started learning German from a veeery big zero. To my surprise, I found it quite amusing since german words sound funny in my asian ear. Yet, some of them are notoriously hard to pronounce.
