Good idea doing these lifestyle videos with language. Some examples are buying clothes, going to the supermarket, Pharmacy, Doctors, beer hall, to the beach, going to concerts and movies, special places like castles, forests and lakes. Festive times in Germany. Maybe even dating in Germany. Maybe make a few different trips through Germany. I also think something about work and industries in Germany. Renting or buying an apartment

Still loving these videos, watching some everyday. Since you ask for suggestions.... a video about dogs?? As someone who has a dog, dog vocab is very useful for me to express things about my life. Things from basic vocab: collar, harness, bowl, to activities like take for a walk, socialize, train and veterinary things like deworm, vaccinate. I know it's very specific, but lots of people have pets!

I really like the way you explain it. Its so easy, Could you, please make a video about the school system? The famous test that children have to take in 3rd or 4th grade. How does it work?
@yourgermanteacher3 жыл бұрын
Hi, a video about the school system is a good idea. I'll write it in our list. But I'm not sure which test you mean... When I was young there was no specific test at the end of elementary school... (4th grade)... But I read that there is a test called "Kompetenztest" that some schools offer since 2009/2010... It's a test in German and Math that helps to evaluate the Level of the school kid to see where it needs to practice more. As I understand it, this test is not important for the kids... There are no grades for the kids. I think it's designed for teachers to see where they have to adapt their classes to the kids needs. 🙂👍🙏

Sehr praktisch nützliches video, Johannes. Vielen Dank. I like to request some daily conversation German, like those languages for basic survival in a German-speaking country. I just shared my recent experience with Luzi that I don't know how to join a small talk about spices comparison with two Swiss ladies in Migros ....Even I said 'Ich verstehen kein Deutsch, sprechen Sie Englisch?' They said 'Ja...' Then carry on their German ....-_-
@yourgermanteacher3 жыл бұрын
Hi Carol, sehr gerne. Good idea, we will make more daily conversation topics in the future. Btw. Many people in German speaking countries are not used to have conversations in English. Although they might understand quite well, their speaking skills are often not that good. Maybe that's why they switched back to German right away. 🤔🇩🇪🙏
