I have shopped Amazon Prime frequently for years with very good success. I select items with free returns should I need to return the item. I generally have been pleased with the styles and quality. At first it was more trial error but with experience I have learned how different styles and sizes fit. I have been particularly pleased with shoes. I read the comments and look for items with higher volume of sales. I would love to see more Amazon reviews like the program today.

I agree! I'd recently lost a lot of weight and couldn't imagine going into shop after shop looking for clothing that fit. I've found out that the "Try Before You Buy" option has been a life saver. Also, I've found that the brand "Allegra K" always has cute detailing in the design and fits me well!

I find the Amazon in house brands to be the best consistent quality and sizing- Amazon essentials, daily ritual and the drop are my favorites. Zessica is also consistent sizing and good quality. I have had my AE pea coat for 3 years and it still looks great. The AE towels are also nice

I don’t buy a lot of clothing on Amazon however, I would tend to try it if there was a recommendation and I saw the piece on someone. I loved the pea coat however, it’s sold out in most sizes.

Thank you for sharing this Jamie. I too have been skeptical of buying from Amazon. I like seeing the fabric and quality in person before buying. I also prefer to try on before buying but you have a good point. They can easily be returned if I don’t like the item or if the fit is not great. The fleece jackets are adorable on you. I also liked the pea coat. I have a navy one that I almost never wear but after seeing yours, I’m going to wear mine more. I also liked the silver sandals although I’m not sure about the straps that tie around the ankle. I saw a very stylish outfit when I was on vacation last summer. She was wearing all white and silver sandals. Sooo cute. Have been looking for silver sandals ever since so glad to hear they will be popular this summer. Love seeing your channel and appreciate the suggestions from Amazon.

My 20 something daughters have found really cute outfits and love shopping on Amazon. I purchased a pair of joggers and they are the softest pair I have ever worn and they look good. I also purchased a navy and white summer dress and I received so many compliments ! I’m going to check out the p coat

I’ve only bought cardigans and socks from Amazon in the past but this year I bought a beautiful trench coat on sale from a reputable brand because I couldn’t find one in stores to fit. I’m only 5’2 “ and this one actually came in a shorter version. Absolutely love it.

With midis I prefer a really long coat or a shorter hip length one. Dividing your body into thirds looks best.

Love that you include quality when making your recommendations. I have been burned buying clothing from Amazon based on price (and anonymous online ratings). It’s nice to have someone I trust checking the seams and fabric before I order. Not to complain, but the Christmas chocolate is long-gone, and I’m back to regular workouts…..picking my own clothes sounds like something I may be ready for in March! I’m ordering the black quilted coat and the fleece jackets. Thank you!

I buy the Amazon Essentials basic tees. They aren’t boxy and just fit nice and not too thin. Also, look for brands you know on Amazon. I got a pair of white Democracy jeans there I like.

I have had really good luck with the Amazon brands. Daily Ritual, Amazon Essentials and The Drop are the brands I will look at first, and everything I have purchased from these has been of pretty decent quality.

Jamie, Amazon’s The Drop is AWESOME! I told a friend of of mine it’s a good thing I don’t get the prime shipping or I’d be broke. They have beautiful staple items and they do collaborations with influencers/celebs and designers. Plus the size ranges are terrific. I have to be careful or I will spend soooooo much money on The Drop. Check it out.

Love your sense of style! But I retired a few years ago and got rid of all of my work clothes, which were very high-quality, and find myself frustrated with all the fast fashion on the market. I’d love to see some items that are not fast fashion always better for me to spend a little more and something I will have for years versus something that will end up in the landfill

So, in your earlier video you asked what our favorite coat is. My husband gifted me with a wonderful Ralph Lauren walker for Christmas. I was beside myself; I would never spend that kind of money on madamnself! But, I wear a New Balance/Mizrahi zip up black jacket that is all weather for every day. I have a Susan Graver car coat (I know, I know - it's QVC) in a tan color with a shade of pink (I bet you would like it!) but it's almost a pea coat and has an oversize collar that stands up beautifully and is perfect for going out. Your recommendation - I bought an Anne Klein pea coat in a dark charcoal!!!! Surprisingly, it was almost $20.00 cheaper on Amazon than Macy's, even with the sale prices at Macy's - AND free delivery for Prime. I can't wait to get it and put it into use; I had one years ago (like my bomber) and could kick myself for not keeping it. Thanks for the recommendations!!!

Your husband’s picks for you have been great. Men want to see our shape and curves, in a classy way, not overtly-sexy or a lot of bare skin! I really dislike all the shapeless, baggy, oversized styles of the last few years, they do nothing for the female form, just completely hide it. Not that I dress for men, but for myself, and I want to wear fitted, but not tight, clothes. No potato sacks for me. I think women have far better shapes and figures than they often think, we all should show ours rather than wear tents.

I have found a couple of things I like on The Drop on Amazon. It’s also a good place to get some brand-name basics like 501s and silk items that I can’t find elsewhere. I just got a true-navy quilted jacket that I love from Amazon, the main fashion brands I checked only have that horrible “dark navy” color, not true navy. Chinese-made fashions on Amazon often run several years behind on styles, but I can sometimes use that to my advantage, like with the jacket. I just wish they would stop making those mid-thigh length t-shirts that we wore with low-riders 20 years ago, I want cropped.
