Love how you crafters create such artful items that I’ve paid stupid money for ….. I’ve seen this created with foam board, drawing a template and then creating the remaining 3 sides, then adding wood beads. Regardless, of materials used - all from DT, they turn out beautifully!! Think I might have a new hobby at 65….crafting !!

If you get lucky 🍀 you might find a tray kind of like the bottom at goodwill, maybe curved frames also. I love your version though, these can be made any size or shape really with some ingenuity.

What about wire ..wire hangers twisted together and either something wrapped around it for smoother look and then shape paint and add the beads..i think its more the shape of that lantern that makes this lantern pop from any other lanterns..
