An observation about Korean hotels in the late Spring and it applies to Jeju as well. Most Korea hotels do not turn on their Air Conditioning systems until June. The result is warmer rooms than many western, especially US, tourists would expect. We just completed a stay in Sokcho and our room was about 26C or about 80F. That was with the fan they provided because the AC was not on. My experience is that many Korea hotels cool to about 75-76F, while in the US it is 72F. Just something to be ready to deal with.

Great review! We visited Jeju island for the first time a few weeks ago. We were on a cruise so we were only in port for a few hours. We were super impressed with the beautiful sights, tastes of delicious foods and the warm welcoming people. Our guide suggested we try the partly frozen Jeju tangerine juice. It was 34°C so ice cold juice sounded great. One sip and I was in heaven. Sure we get tangerine juice in Canada but nothing like Jeju tangerine juice. Honestly we plan on going back to Jeju to stay for a few weeks. Truly a South Korean jam!

am planning a 10 days trip at Jeju next autumn 5 days in the north of the island and 5 in the south and this is very helpful to organise as I’m travelling alone renting a car will be expensive. Every visit will be with bus or taxi. This is helping me a lot to organise visit. Thanks from Belgium 🇧🇪

Thank you so much for the wonderful explanation. I really wish I could fit Jeju into my itinerary but 8-day of Busan and Seoul would keep me very busy already... Next time for sure I'll visit Jeju!

Hi, thankyou for the great information. Hi planning a trip to Jeju Island, I will be spending 4 days in Seogwipo then the last two in Jeju City as I will be catching a morning flight to Busan. I will have a car up until I return it around 5pm on the final afternoon. Is splitting up where I stay what you would recommend? I am thinking of mdoing something like this: Day1 Seogwipo East attractions, Day 2 Seogwipo West attractions, Day 3 Hallasan, Day 4 Jeju city East. Day 5 Jeju city West. Would you recommend dividing the trip up like this? Or is there a better way?

I actually prefer you splitting the attractions up by the different areas of the Island. That makes it easier for us to plan

Hi I have a question, as a tourist who wants to visit Jeju Island, which transport method would you recommend for me to use? Right now what I'm thinking with my research is that the best option is to use a ferry at Wando. Thanks in advance :)

My wife and I travelled to Jeju last summer to stay with our niece who lives on Jeju. In fact she works in Seoul every other week and commutes by plane from Jeju. We flew from Daegu, but it just as easily can be done from Seoul. Prices are very reasonable and the airports are top quality.
@ago25511 ай бұрын
@thomasday8155 if flying from Seoul, do you have to depart from Gimpo airport? Do you know Jeju air's luggage weight/dimension limit? (Found varied information online). I am planning a trip to Jeju from Seoul in a few months, do you think I can ask you for some recommendation via email? Thank you!
