Lol, like the only 2 options alternatives have to be either to be able to carry or not. The issue is not you have the right to carry, the issue is that any wacko out there can easily get their hands on a gun (and everyone should be afraid of these people), and people are generally very irresponsible with their guns. The right to carry shouldn't be taken away, but some changes do need to happen if things are to improve.

@@JohnSmith-jl4wq I'm not even in the US, so this doesn't affect me. I can freely walk anywhere and at any time in my city and feel safe; not even needing to carry a gun in the first place (I know - crazy to imagine what can be achieved if your citizens are not mentally ill).
