OMG, the way you started I thought you were going to cancel your channel. Lol I am so happy for your family. Welcome to America and if you get to Harrisburg Pa which is our state capital, I would love to meet you! If you go to NY or Washington DC and use the subways, do not make eye contact with anyone, or talk to them. There will also be a lot of panhandling, which is street people asking you for money. So be careful! May God keep your family safe and you have a wonderful experience visiting America. Also in Pa, there is a small town called Gettysburg with history of the civil war battle that turned the tide for the north!

My mother fled for her life to the States from the East German DDR in the late 70's when she was a teenager. She always told me the biggest culture shock wasn't the language or food (or even capitalism 😂). It was the immediate kindness and generosity from her new neighbors whom she felt owed her nothing. (First, I start by emphasizing that we or I personally don’t view ourselves superior to any other people or nations of the world. I as well as most Americans are simply, and whole-heartedly PROUD and Patriotic of our country, our history (albeit not all good in the past) but we Americans take pride and the upmost respect for our National flag. The meticulous care we honor and afford to the “Star Spangled Banner”/“Old Glory” is out of pure loyalty, love, respect, and our admiration for all this country has sacrificed their lives for what the believe is the better good for the world. What the flag represents to us and even more so is for the memories of all American servicemen & servicewomen most important is the honor and meticulous care we treat our USA flag with the ultimate respect.(i.e. the flag, is NOT just a FLAG and it is NEVER to touch the ground.) Our flag is not just a sign waving in the wind at capitols or to be put on for show. Our USA flag honors the people, this great land and our love for a country that never backs down from wrongs or atrocities of other nations or anti-political protesters. The USA has probably the most famous, well-recognized and when seen by the mass majority of the world it is viewed as a friend, helper, saver to foreign countries. Yet at the same time it represents an fills us with pride for all the great men & women dating back to the 1760s who started and built this “small land” on the east coast into the most diverse, philanthropic, and powerful nation in the WORLD. Yes, it may be just a flag to @Jaguwa, but it means a whole helluva lot more to us over 300,000,000 US patriots than someone who could care less that it’s “just a Flag” ❤USA❤

Helpful Hint: Don't come to California right now... Unless you go to San Diego, which I hear it's still very nice. LA and SF are having major problems with homeless people and other issues. Get to more out of the way places in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, etc. Really, don't do it. Orange County may be a good choice if you need to be here to go to Disneyland or Universal Studios. If so, stay in or directly next to the parks to be safe

Agreed. I always insist travers to not go to Hollywood. Tourist from overseas always want to go but it is awful and a huge waste of time.

@@itsmeagandanielle I'm embarrassed and saddened to have to tell this to people. I was always a proud Californian, born and raised. But, now, I just can't do it in good conscience. The National Parks are still amazing, though. I just don't want people coming to the major cities now. I don't even go there anymore
