PAUL & JOHN LISTEN AT NIGHT AT A LAME STATION IN ENGLAND THAT BROADCAST ELVIS NEWS AND SONGS AS WELL AS LITTLE RICHARD & OTHERS. This is an incredibly high quality video . I was just a dumb 10 year old when the Beatles invaded the USA and didn't really know what all the excitement was about . only that my older sister had over night turned insane and seemed possessed by some unseen force, that drove her to cover her walls with Beatles stuff and talk incessantly about "Paul" . i'm an old man now and my sister is gone, and i cherish every one of those those memories.

I was 4 years old when my mom introduced me to the Beatles with I Want to hold your hand. I was 5 in 1969 and I remember hearing "Something" on the radio in my parents car for the first time, I didn't know I was hooked at that point, but it took me a few more years. I'm so lucky to live through the musical experience of the greatest musical group our world has lived through and ever will. Their songs are great on many levels but too watch their maturity and growth through their short span as a group is unmatched and will never be duplicated. I still get amazed everytime I see something I haven't seen yet such as this video. Something is still my favorite song they created. Pulls at my heart and soul every time I hear it. Love the Beatles!!

They had to be good for they learned first-hand in Hamburg what a finely polished band should sound like and they were together for years before really hitting the top. I played in quite a number of bands since 1965. The same things crashed them too eventually, viz. different tastes in music; their differences in musical mastery of their instruments; drugs; their wives weren't so close as their husbands and the big screw-up of bands? Jealousy. BUT! Without doubt the greatest pop band ever and like The Shadows, taught most of us now in our senior years to fall in love with guitars and music in general. RIP John and George and God bless brilliant Paul and very likeable Ringo.

Randi--Alistair Crowley, the Satanist the Beatles loved who claimed to be the devil's right hand man, is behind much evil in Hollywood and the music scene--Crowley taught: "Do what thou wilt--it is the whole of the law." "It's your thing, do what you wanna do." (Isley Bros.) In other words, don't obey the real law, do whatever you want. Brings back memories of when I was 13. I wanted a Gretsch Country Gentleman like George played and a Walther PPK like James Bond carried. I've achieved both goals, although I don't play as well as George and don't shoot as well as James, but I'm a happy old man anyway.
@emptynester92413 жыл бұрын
Both are classics that must be as fun to just look at as they are to shoot and play.

@@emptynester9241 Indeed. I have a VOX amp for the Gretsch and a custom-made shoulder holster for the Walther, so the atmosphere is certainly there. :)

...I lived through this era...while a fan of jazz as a young teenager in 1964...Dave Brubeck, John Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Errol Garner, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald...this group was such a breath of fresh air, that I had to take notice...and here we are 59 years later...and I listen to everything. Talent is talent, and these "youngsters" were certainly that...they certainly changed the way popular music was performed...and presented...

Beautiful footage. Historic. Captures the Beatles while and when they were a performing rock and roll band. Before they had become the icons of the age but also showing Why they became the icons of our age. Pure energy, excitement, charisma and raw talent. Brian Epstein and later George Martin truly were the fifth Beatles back in the day. John, Paul, George and Ringo were the instruments but management helped make them The Beatles!

Was 12 years old in 1964 and saw some kids on the school bus carrying lunchboxes with “beetles” on them (now they must be worth big bucks!). And then The Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan show and I fell in love. They were cute and sang catchy songs. However, never really appreciated their unique musical genius until watching all of these KZbin videos of their live performances. Thanks for posting.

Nothing like Beatle mania, before or since. While they were far from the first Rock 'n Roll band, and borrowed much from earlier artists, it is hard to imagine how different and fresh this sounded in 1963-64. It completely reinvigorated and changed the direction of Rock 'n Roll.

i was smiling the whole time, almost felt like crying.. this is so much happiness.. i am a 31-year old lady and i never thought I'd feel being inside the Beatlemania just by listening to their songs and admiring their works and the band as well.. if i feel strongly this way then i could only imagine the madness way back in the 60s.. it also just so happen, that I'd made the right decision to comfort myself through classic old songs, and i encountered the Beatles; begun my my Beatles marathon right then while i was confined in the hospital back at the end of 2019.. Beatles' songs kept me company, and until today i couldn't get enough of them.. they're still a mystery to me in spite of all the articles i could read and watch about them.. this band was just so surreal.. the biggest regret was not that i wasn't born during their time and experience their journey to being legends first hand, but i honestly wish they never had to break up, hurting each other.. i wish they'd matured and moved on positively from all the heartaches earlier and made up like i wish they had a group photo together somewhere, being old and all, before one of them rested in peace.. i just love them to the core is all

Siempre The Beatles, únicos. Gracias.
