Regarding her tendency to drop consonants many singing coach reactors/teachers seem to love her style, some saying it’s part of her jazz stylings. There was one singing teacher reactor that praised her voice but was very critical of her style and enunciation saying that you need to be able to understand clearly what is being sung. I would say that’s true if you are doing Broadway style singing but not necessarily in pop or jazz singing when the music and expression is the real focus. I’ve also seen comments on her socials by people, who may not know her or her style, criticize her “cursive” singing. That basically goes back to what the teacher reactor said. But if you are not a fan of that then that’s fine. It’s a matter of personal taste. Do you always need to hear clearly every single word? Who understands all the words to Louie Louie? Despite the confusion of the “mess up your heart” line, yes it may not be very clear, but if you know Angelina’’s style you can make out the words. I personally had always heard “heart”, especially since the next line ended with “start”

I don't understand why fans get angry by comparisons especially since she really doesn't mind herself. Comparisons are indeed meant as compliments and it's an easy way to describe something you don't know. I have never watched wish bus live, but Angelina's voice just seemed to powerful for their outside speakers (I watched the livestream). A couple speakers playing outside the bus were hanging on for their life! lol Maybe the was different being there and/or because it was recorded on a phone. When they release it, it will sound awesome. Don't get me wrong, it still sounded good;) I'm sure it was a special moment to be there though;)

Traffic was a typical issue with ambulances and police and double parking going on. Bravo doing it this way. But hopefully it continues to bring awareness. If this is done once a week many more people will embrace these kind of events.

So happy for you that you finally got to see Angelina live. My first time was at her Glendale concert and it was even more incredible than I even imagined. Like a beautiful dream. You're exactly right about Angelina being in the moment with the song. You can really see it in her face, and in her gestures. I had mentioned in Steve Ackerman's video that it seems each live performance is just a little different, which makes each performance even more special. This young lady is just amazing. 🥰

She replaced the central belt in Bohemian Rhapsody after her 2022 concerts to head voice as well, first in a TikTok with her grandma, maybe to keep it easier on her ears, than later the year at the Unforgettable Gala, where she likely had a cold. But she then later kept that style in all following live performances, including Glendale. So I'd think that this could be a stylistic choice going forward for BV as well. In Glendale she still sang it like on the released initial studio version, which features her unaltered vocals as recorded in 2022.

I live in LA but was unable to make it. I was able to catch most of the livestream. I saw you on the livestream and was so glad you made it, especially since you weren’t able to make the concert. I was surprised that Angelina herself has not mentioned anything about this small event, before or since. Per Steve Ackerman who filmed this, there were up to about 25 people there at one time. I don’t know what a typical crowd size is for these things. Were you able to get a sense of what people thought who were just passersby and stopped to check it out?

About the sound, I think that wasn't a great mic for singing, IMO. What a fun video and I'm sure you had a marvelous time. Obviously Toby is ready, very ready, to chart a course for him and Angelina. As you stated Angelina has been 'well protected' throughout her life and particularly when she is performing. and I believe all of us who love her would not want it to be any other way. In today's climate ( and I'm not talking about the weather) safety is of the utmost concern. At the same time we, her 'angels', are still waiting for the time that whenever we turn on our radio we might catch Angelina singing a song. I say that because even though there are millions of fans who believe she is a treasure, there are so many more millions who haven't discovered her yet and let me put the following statement in caps. EVERYONE IN THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR ANGELINA SING FOR THEM AND THEY WILL HEAR THE SOULFULNESS IN HER VOICE TRANFORM INTO LOVE IN IT'S PUREST FORM AND TOUCH THEIR HEARTS. I love, love LOVE your analysis Juliet! What you described at length was something I noticed too… and for me, it was the first confirmation of something that I suspected all along - that what emanates from Angelina is totally “organic.” It is of the moment and often ad-libbed on the spot… much as “scat” music is ad-libbed or off-the-cuff.
