Actually Arijit is a Indian classically trained singer. In Indian classical falsetto is highly discouraged. Singers are required to go to high notes in their natural voice.

A lot of our singers (especially those that are trained in Classical Indian music) just don't do it coz it's not an Indian thing... It's a western thing... Singers who are more into western music or who are not trained in classical music do falsettos.. I think.

The crowd noise matches. The recording is live music awards. They clap mostly every time he sings a new song or they recognize the music of the next song. This is a medley of his songs the transitioning of the songs is fantastic. He is phenomenal !

its pre recorded and the crowd noise is done in post production sorry to break your bubble, the award functions cant ever be live 99 percent of the time since the sound check consumes almost half of the day or even more time sometimes, they cant make celebrities wait that long with a routine scheduled for the day!... ofcourse his concerts are live now a days but its different from award functions so, how do I know this is my guitar instructor played lead guitar beside pritam da and arijit for 10 years!

Yes I agree the edit is a bit weird. They've added same samples of audience claps and whistles many times for no reason at all. Sadly as it was done by the broadcasting channel there's no version without them. They'd done this to the first medley by Arijit too. It's sad.

If you will notice Zayn Malik sung Indian Classical riffs in "Dusk till dawn". He is not trained classical in Indian music but still he watches Bollywood music and stuffs from very early age (He is of Pakistani origin).

Indian classical music is the most skilled form of music through whicb singers like Arijit and Sonu Nigam are inspired , the skill which such singers possess will never be replicated by the west but maybe because our singers sing in Indian languages they dont get much global popularity or maybe the world is just ignorant about these skilled singers. All some ppl outside know of is just stereotypical punjabi dance songs unfortunately .
