If you haven't listened to Self Care already go do your ears a favour and give it a spin. Definitely one of the highlights of 2020. 37 minutes of inexcusably slapping punk rock mayhem. I'm not even a huge punk rock fan, but I'll definitely be seeing these guys when they're in town.

Consult a doctor, there's definitely something wrong with your ears. This has VERY LITTLE to do with old Paramore.
@WeMissDimebag3 жыл бұрын
If you don’t think Mikhaila is channeling a good amount of Haley Williams, you’re blind. Compositionally, no, they don’t sound like Paramore, cause they’re doing the pop-punk thing most of the time. Structurally and vocally, there’s definitely similarities. Their hooks specifically are very Paramore-like. Verses, not so much.

WaWhats the go with that, every decent rock band needs a bass player, not a guitarist using an effects pedal. Great sound nonetheless. Love a female lead vocalist.

Agree that it feels like they’re sacrificing depth/detail for the pop-punk sound. Which is cool, I just wish there were a few more glimpses of them as artists and less catering to the genre.
