I’m 18, I just recently lost my job due to work being slow, and I started to feel like I was stuck, I don’t have my diploma or GED, so it was going to be hard to find a job that would push me closer to my goals. But this video gave me motivation to not give up, and maybe even made me consider if where I want to go is even where I want to go.

You know what Mr. Eddie? Thank you for this motivational video, it will inspire a lot of people to succeed, and really the life is too short... What you think is what you become.

In applied psychology academia there is an area of study called psychological capital-moving beyond the age of human capital. Made up of the HERO framework (hope, self-efficacy (confidence in your abilities), resilience, and optimism.) And this is a higher order framework. What is hope? Hope at a higher level is not this desire for an outcome to happen. You’re going, you’re going and what’re you’re doing is not working. Hopelessness would be if you do nothing about it to change your situation. Hope is the ability to redirect resources to a new direction. Ie. Your time, attention, skills ect. Optimism isn’t just a half glass full positive think. It’s the ability to bridge the gap and move yourself, your team, your organization ahead in the step they needed to go forward.

Yes! If it's not propelling you forward it's doing the exact opposite.... It's weighing you down. And acquiescence is the same as accepting that albatross around your neck. It's time to drop it... Drop that weight and FLY!!!

I must say that this opening statement is filled with such power "Just because you took a long time making a mistake, doesn't mean you should keep making it." It really is that indebtedness to our past and the time and effort that we put into an endeavor or experience that keeps us stuck from moving on. We truly must let go and let God and find the courage to do so. Another brilliant, timely piece Eddie...thanx to the a pizza experience lol.

At the beginning of the year I made a decision that I spent so much money on and it fell through. It hurt like crazy but I dropped it and I hear all the time, you were almost there, why didn't you keep pursuing it? I can't look back like that anymore. I closed that door now I'm focusing on where I need to be, rather than choosing comfort

Im a young dude and Im still figuring out what I want to do with my life, I went and studied for this course for a year then dropped out as I knew it wasnt what I really wanted to do, and It was hard for me to let go of that without feeling guilty like I have wasted a year, but Ive know decided I just want to travel and live free while Im young and experience life to the fullest for a bit before I rush into anything, that was my mistake and it has been all about letting go and moving forward

Eddie, I got into streaming video games. Built a small community. However, I realised my entire day was existing around video games. Even if I streamed for only 1 hour, I'd play games the rest of the day. Recently, I cut video games out entirely (which means no streaming). This video speaks to me. Feels like I'm leaving behind progress. I can't seem to do moderation with video games. So, the plan is to build a healthy life and reintroduce video games once I'm disciplined enough to have them be only a part of my day (and a productive part through streaming them to an audience). Thank you for the words. Really needed to hear this. We still learn and takes things to other ventures, even if we leave previous ventures behind. Here's to walking out!

I understand I've made some bad choices. Just sorry I hurt you Ashley. I'm not upset.. Just sad that I'll never see you again. I'm hurt because you could've treated me like a friend maybe I don't even deserved that. I'm so sorry how things ended. Don't think I'm acting away that's odd. I'm okay bit still have my moments. My meds are working and that's good. I just wanted closer with you. I see in those love queots that you have been seeing someone. I think it's David but that's your choice ... Just be careful with him. I just wanted something from you so I could use that to break free. Is that wrong of me?
