To us it's a matter of your personnel and sometimes even your rules. Some youth leagues won't let a Nose Guard line up directly over the Center. Either is fine but younger players normally need to be given a gap to stay in and defend. regardless of if you play a 5 man front or a 4 man front we recommend playing an 8 man front and stopping the run first in youth football.
