Thank you! Love The Wipers. First heard this song covered by The Melvins. It's fantastic but there is something a little more desperate in the original version. Sage lives up to his name as far as his guitar technique is concerned. A very unique style.

His “chorus”, at least on those first 3 records, is actually ALL his bigsby, with maybe some wow and flutter from his Echoplex when applicable. His strumming hand is absolutely psychotic.

Thanks for this post. I think you are totally right. I was trying to figure out how he was getting that sound, because it's not straight chorus or flange or delay. It totally sounds like the tremolo bar. When I made this lesson, I think I looked at some live videos to see if he was using a tremolo, but he didn't have one on the guitar, so I wrote that off as how he was doing it. Thanks again!
