Masha Allah! Sister Sara I admire the way you talk. It is so enlightening. It is so peaceful. I have been through abusive married relationship for 13 years. I ran to many people to solve the problem. From the time I enrolled myself with Alhuda for quran course my life transformed. The moment I realized no one can solve my problem except my creator. I held the ground firm. Alhamdulillah when I developed strong bond with my rub. I started smiling. I started forgiving the one who oppressed me. I started wishing the best for the one who oppressed me. Today I thank Allah swt for choosing me. I strongly believe Islam is haqq. I strongly believe life is a test. I strongly believe the word of Allah swt is haqq.

I firmly believe that it all begins at home, the way we bring about our kids, especially our boys, we need to instill Islam, love, mercy, kindness, good manners in them, teach them that it's not shameful or demeaning for boys to do housework, love and care for their kids, talk about your feelings etc.... We women raise our kids with a lot of favoritism, which makes the boys feel that they are so much better than girls, this is our biggest downfall, especially in India, Pakistan etc

@@bullseye9723..... As Muslims, if we practice our Deen properly, we should all know our rights over each other, but in Pakistan and India, they put culture over Deen, that's where all the problems start.... Many religious scholars don’t even accept domestic violence as something to be even noticed.They just say have patience & parents usually don’t support their daughters in such situations & force them to continue whatever the circumstances are.I genuinely salute you for such a great narrative & speaking about this issue with so much grace & respect instead of blaming our women for all the wrong in our society.
@bullseye97233 жыл бұрын
not true, not all types are domestic violence in islam. hard beating close to death is know as domestic violence.
@maven56533 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's really sad that some parents aren't supporting at that time. First they just marry off their daughter or son without educating them about the rights and duties of spouses given by Islam and other things etc, cuz they don't know it themselves. Some just educate their son or daughter according to culture, not islam which is so wrong! Then of course problems arise after marriage. But many parents would just tell their daughter to bear it all and have sabr. Like wth! That is not the sabr which islam teaches about but unfortunately our society is illiterate about true teachings of islam
@bullseye97233 жыл бұрын
@@maven5653 no , what they told is right, Allah is with those who have sabr!! and yes women should be told how her hsuabnds have right and how high status he has.. and no one is teaching culture !! what tey are teaching islam!! you can't always brush out islamic laws saying its culture !! what you may think as culture is actually islamic

@@bullseye9723 bro or sis, like why in the world are you acting like you know the situation of every house in this country or whatever. First I'm not talking about all families. I only used the words "some" or "many" in my comment cuz i know there are also islamically literate familes, God bless them BUT i know and have seen jahalat abt the situations i talked abt. A lot of it, ok. On the other hand your talking as if all family systems are same. And please watch videos of good scholars on sabr, ok. Cuz it's a very confused thing. Sabr is a very beautiful thing but islam also teaches situations when to have sabr and when to speak up, ok. And the situation i talked about does not call of sabr. I'm wasn't talking about small issues where sabr is advised. And also by culture, i meant some toxic norms spread in our societies that HAVE NOTHING to do with islam so i haven't denied any islamic teachings. The cultural things that r in congruence with islam r ok but those which r not, should be discarded. Yes, husband has high status and i acknowledge it too but have i denied it in my comment? No. And that high status does not at all allow him to inflict any sort of abuse on wife. Both should treat each other with love and care as taught by islam.

I think psychological and emotional abuse is much worse than clear and physical abuse. Because a person can stay strong and well spirited to stand up for themselves in the middle of clearly bad situation (like the wife of firoun). But a person in emotionally abusive environment cannot fight. Their inner self is damaged. No one can see their pain because emotional abusers are charming in everyone's eyes. Even your children think youre crazy. I would say that women in emotionally abusive situations must make hijra from such a man in order to be able to worship Allah the way she wants. I also think she needs to report emotional abuse and not just physical, to authorities that can protect her and help her start a new life free from madness Please leave, for the sake of your sanity. Don't choose to die as a psycho.

I enjoyed your attitude of giving benefit of the doubt. It’s important to talk things out and try to resolve things. But if some one has repetitive negative/abusive such abs anger outbursts, a human wanting to control another human, moodiness, etc, ..... I fear that you are minimizing such negative behavior, and it will continue to normalizing unIslamic behavior. It is the responsibility of a mo3min to stop injustice. And being unkind to an undeserving person is injustice.

She said “our religion doesn’t give men permission to disgrace women…the best of you are those who are best to their wives.” She also said to check for signs of abuse early and seek counseling, esp if it is anger issues. “Try to nip it in the bud.” Most importantly, she said if it’s life threatening abuse you must seek help and safety: “aise haalaat mein shohar ke khilaaf awaaz utaana…”

Narrated Abu Huraira: While the Prophet was saying something in a gathering, a Bedouin came and asked him, When would the Hour (Doomsday) take place? Allah's Apostle continued his talk, so some people said that Allah's Apostle had heard the question, but did not like what that Bedouin had asked. Some of them said that Allah's Apostle had not heard it. When the Prophet finished his speech, he said, Where is the questioner, who inquired about the Hour (Doomsday)? The Bedouin said, I am here, O Allah's Apostle . Then the Prophet said, When honesty is lost, then wait for the Hour (Doomsday). The Bedouin said, How will that be lost? The Prophet said, When the power or authority comes in the hands of unfit persons, then wait for the Hour (Doomsday.)

Assalamualikum. You are right. We must depend on our Lord Allah and ask only from Allah not anyone else. Allah has a plan for everyone and we must wait for the right decision of Allah. This is true that we can't live without him and also want to leave him because of our children and something else. May Allah forgive us for our every known and unknown mistakes. May Allah bless us and help us to pass the exam that Allah give us as a test. May Allah guide us with His mercy and give patience in all situation that has challenged our life. Ameen
