First time here, would defo look at being able to flatten out the ball when you're on the attack. Often you're up in the court to attack, then hit a big loopy topspin (into his backhand, but loopy) and it gives him so much time to get to the ball. You don't have to hit the ball harder there, but if you can swing out through the ball more in the right situation, you'll put more of those away. I get wanting to respect the short ball eg at 10:18, just make sure you can disrespect it sometimes, like at 4:58

@joec2221 great feedback! I don’t really know how to flatten out my forehand. How would you describe the technique to do that from what you’re seeing in my strokes?

i really recommend you focus on volleys much more than groundstrokes. once your comfortable at the net you will find that winning points much eaiser. even if your groundstrokes are much better than your opponent's, the points are extremely hard to win from the baseline

I disagree with the statement “your tennis IQ is pretty bad” you guys often display an amazing amount of tennis knowledge. The real problem is you guys seem to disregard the best part of yourselves and instead pay more attention to the part that’s obsessed with shoe color. 😢 kzbin.infoUgkx65e9qbg-X5ATygr2Sta1bvL6-z7MSAe-?si=p3xhlPQordQ4_C83 this clip from your calendar video is a good illustration. How is it that you know what an advanced service trophy position is supposed to look like yet you fail to work to incorporate its elements into your actual service?🤨 watch the the clip look at that shoulder tilt and knee bend. You’re even going through pains to stretch that left arm to the sky like a pro does. Why don’t you do any of that in your actual service? In your first vid on this channel you correctly list the elements of a good forehand yet all these years later you guys still won’t use your own good advice. Especially Condor with his T Rex left arm on his forehand. You guys are nowhere near being idiots from a knowledge standpoint. The stupidity comes in the unwillingness to use what you know. By the way the volley you miss at 6:10 if you were using a Continental grip instead of an Eastern backhand you probably would’ve made it. But you probably already knew that as it’s easy to find 30 KZbin vids telling you this. 😢
