***UPDATE*** I've noticed that many who are having issues with leaving comments are ALSO having issues with those comments on this video now. Based on that glitch I can say one thing, it definitely seems to be based highly on the user compared to anything else. If you are having issues posting comments on nearly everyone's videos. It's the profile impacted by this unwanted glitch and I wish I had a work around for you but I don't.

The glitch (1) is that I can see my comment left on other YT channels, when logged into my account but some one else sitting side by side next to me logged in to his YT account on his computer and viewing the same channel can not see the comment I posted earlier. The case of I can see my comment but he cannot see it.

Sometimes no matter what You Tube disables comments if there is any kids in your video. No control over it. It's in KZbins hands. Great video. Great info..

Oh that's another good point Michael, if you video isn't addressed kids, KZbin automatically blocks any comments from coming in! So true. I'll pin this comment for others to know about too!

The MOST infuriating KZbin glitch is that I will see a comment pop up on the YT app on my phone... then I will click on it to respond, and sometimes the comment DISAPPEARS! Like totally vanishes! I have had this happen to really important comments... I was so mad! Even going on my laptop to the video and looking in the comment section... the comments are gone. It's been a bag bug in YT for months. Hasn't happened to me in the past couple weeks, so hopefully it is fixed!

Hahah yes, the most frustrating bug KZbin still has and it can't be fixed at this moment but I hope they do it quickly. That's why I made this video to inform people that it is a real glitch

This is so frustrating, I did what you said and it worked!!! I had potentially hold comments, I was getting comments but I think I was missing many because people asked me if I got their comments and I didn't, so I suspect this is why. Great video and thank you!!!

Great info! On a slightly different topic, I have found that no matter what settings I have in KZbin Studio, comments may be visible but I do not always receive notifications. I installed the YT Studio app (on Android. I haven't tried on my iPhone.) and consistently (you like my word choice?!!) receive comment notifications.

Haha yeah I barely ever get notifications and at this point of time I gave up trying, I keep up with the blue notification icon I see on everyone's name and that's how I know something new is coming up haha

Nope, you can expand those by removing the 'I haven't responded" to in the comments section and load the additional, I didn't even know that was happening.

That’s my biggest problem is disappearing comments. They are in notifications but not in my video. My other issue is no notifications. The comment gets posted but I don’t get a notification. I’ve found comments (or worse yet, questions) in older videos that were months old and I never got a notification.

I would agree, it's really not fun for me when this happens, even right now, your comment David just showed up in my "held for review" section. I make sure to check this section all the time but I think since you had 1 comment 1 time with a blocked word ( wasn't a bad one but maybe one I had in my list ) it then put you in always for reviewing, but I can change it to keep it so all your comments come through, just forgot to until now haha

That's because typically the original commenter deleted their first comment and when they delete the first one , the rest follow.

Is the glitch thing the same as when you're watching another video and you go to read the comments and replies it says "view reply" but they're no replies there?

Nope, I believe that is due to the person deleting their comment.

You can see the additional comments by going directly on KZbin instead of the studio and opening the notifications or you can expand the comments in the KZbin studio ( regardless computer or phone ) and it will show the replies, it does involve some digging though.

My comments on all video's made by others is invisible to all but me. Get a solution for that one? (The ones I post by android. I can see them all, yet the video maker and my friends DON'T see them. Caught your stream the other day after seeing you on another stream (Spokes) a couple of weeks ago. Wonder why the comment glitch hasn’t been resolved by KZbin yet? Seems like it would be a priority.

It happens maybe 2 out of every 30-40 comments I find , so it's not enjoyable but at least I can contact the person (unless they aren't a creator then it's a bit tough ) hopefully this also helps for those who wonder why I haven't replied haha. I have just found out a few minutes ago that if you are using Adblocker for KZbin Video (Red stop sign with the white triangle pointing right) in Firefox, the Comment line to type your comment will not be there. In this case if you have any Adblocker add-ons, try disabling them.

I have that happen with about 50% of my comments. I don't even know if this will get posted. I can be on a hockey video and say "Nice goal" and it will not show. I know words need to be avoided and I go out of my way to not even have words that could be used in any other way.

Also it does seem the software has been updated etc and adding.. shorts and big changes to studio.. now adding .. what are referred to as new features.. latest ones seem similar to FB/IG/Discord/tic etc.. I wonder if they will then punish creator's that make any reference or link to anything 'off platform'? If one of the other 16/9 video platform's got it's act together and did a family friendly platform with a search function (maybe linked to a duck) also easy to use UI.. and.. without all the bits they would gain a good slice of the market.

Check to see if you have links blocked or not , KZbin defaults them to blocked for a reason of safety

Lol So, in general, why do some comments only show up YT studio and not on YT itself? (Even comments that are not held for review)

@@JustAnotherArmyVet Because some links will either push people off KZbin or into possible scam links so KZbin has to do the best they can to protect their site. It is possible they don't allow the long links compared to short links but KZbin videos make it hard for us to copy and paste short videos since the links aren't formatted smaller. It all comes down to protection.

The thing is I don't really say anything too offensive. I did comment on a person's reply tackling a real-life issue, but my comment got deleted for no reason. I was just trying to help the other person out. I guess it's KZbin being KZbin 🥱

That’s annoying! The disappearing comments it used to happen to me earlier this year and I can only notice it when I use KZbin on my computer and NOT on my phone.

It's both, it's KZbin settings but also I mentioned at the end that it's also a KZbin glitch, sadly we have to battle with both.

Someone commented on of my shorts today. I replied and noticed that it didn't show up, but now instead of 2 comments, it says THREE. I would be the 3rd comment, but it is not there......

It's possible they deleted it after so the notification shows still shows but I could be wrong

@@ConsistentAsh It‘s not a glitch, YT algorithms automatically hides comments. Go to some political or news channels, you will often find it indicating 20 replies, only to find only 3 if you open them. It is not limited to replies, lots of comments are simply ghosted. They are only visible to the author but no one else. I had posted totally harmless comments and wondered why i never had any replies or likes. After checking logged out, i found that the comments are simply not visible. It is one thing to prevent hate speech or other banned content by using an algorithm. But this is censoring on highest level.

Within your settings in your Studio there's the option to approve all comments. It defaults to held when you have blocked words on
