Agreed, adding a slight magenta gradient on the pure or ig "KZbin" red can help distinguish the little red dot from the rest of the play bar. Not only that, but using magenta instead of something like crimson or orange allows for the brightness of red to be maintained visually. Making pure red lighter just makes a salmon kinda color, but adding a bit of that magenta gives it that oomf.

The "awesome" easter egg now does not work for the progress bar and only affects the subtitle button, if subtitles are on. @@Bedic-Mag why can't they KZbin is their company they can do anything with it.youtube has undergone multiple minor changes throughout the years why does this one have to be linked with KZbin's unablity to improve moderation it's not really taking a lot of time of theirs it's just a very minor change I doubt it hinders anything other in the KZbin development procedure.alao for the people thinking their screen in broken it's honestly pretty dumb I myself included thought that maybe some glitch occured in my screen at first so I opened up a few videos and saw it was in all of the videos then I just moved the screen (scrolled) to see if it's an area related bug but no nothing of that sort you can really just figure out it's a new KZbin thing in a matter of minutes unless your dumb ofcourse. For the colorblind it's also pretty easily diagnosable by just pulling up red on Google and seeing it.for the last point it's very weak if KZbin needed for people to talk about it wouldn't they use the main KZbin account to talk about it and not some random other account

the progress bar looks really cool. i just dont see why this is a problem. it looks cool. its pointless but its not actively harmful and its such an easy change that its not taking resources away from anything. also to imply that they're doing something wrong by not following their guidelines on THEIR OWN LOGO is just kinda funny. like its their logo they can do whatever they want with it. the guidelines are for everyone else since its not everyone else's logo.

KZbin doesn't have to follow their own branding rules, but, imagine if someone took a screenshot or copied the image that they are providing on this site, to use for their website or for something else. A person who directly uses the magenta-infused KZbin logo in a news article or anywhere else is technically breaking those said rules they haven't updated. No one is going to care but it's just something I pointed out that's funny.

good video anyways here’s a pancake recipe! batter: For each cup of flour: 1 medium or large egg 1 tsp baking powder (you can go for 2 or 3 if you want lighter pancakes) a pinch of salt 2 tbl neutral oil or butter 2 tbl sugar or maple syrup about 3/4 cup of milk Options to add to the batter (not all at once): 1/2 tsp vanilla extract small blueberries finely diced strawberries tiny chocolate chips multi-colored sprinkles 1 tbl cocoa powder In a bowl combine flour, salt, and baking powder with a whisk or two forks. Place the egg, oil, and sugar in a measuring cup and add milk to make the same volume as the flour and combine with a whisk. Add the milk mixture to dry ingredients, mix together gently (you don’t want to over mix and build up gluten strings - the pancakes will be tough). Increase the heat on the griddle to medium and grease with butter or spray shortening. Spoon batter onto the griddle to make pancakes the size you want. Bake until the bubbles near the center stop filling in when they break, then flip them and bake on the other side until golden. (If the first side of the first batch is browning too fast, lower the heat.) I've asked a friend of mine who has a masters in Psychology about this and she told me her best guess was that KZbin may be trying to artificially inflate watch time (albeit marginally) As the gradually changing color may be more "satisfying" and less boring, while also potentially creating a sense of expectation of a (very minor) reward, that being the change in color. Something like "don't quit the video yet, it's not fully pink". Pretty silly overall, but I can totally picture KZbin doing this
