Typically, I’ll look for a better target. But, Google does have a “Search Floor” to their data, meaning… there can be Search volume but not enough monthly to trigger the graph. In that case, use the Results Tab to get a feel if other videos might be driving interest & views for the target your researching.

What about if you inserted 'Ford' somewhere in the title at the end. e.g. 1966 Mustang Engine - Ford Repairs Does this benefit or go against your optimisation?

You can definitely use multiple targets like that in your title but remember that you’re optimizing for the viewer, not just the machine. Would people be Searching “Ford Repairs” to learn about a 1966 Mustang Engine? This is where a little more research can provide those answers

I was thinking whether you get to target both the "1966 mustang Engine" viewers AND the "Ford Repairs" viewers, thus multiplying your target audience. If you simply only put your eggs in one basket (by using only 1966 mustang) and find out that it wasn't the best result for your video, then do you end up missing out on potential audience from Ford Repairs? Hope I'm making sense 😅

What about using multiple keyword strings in a title separated by a hyphen? Say you found two or more keyword strings that showed good results and you wanted to use them all. Would you double or triple your chances of discoverability? Thanks for the video!

If both make sense when combined into a single title, go for it. Just remember that you’re optimizing for HUMANS, not just KZbin. Stuffing words together that make it harder for the viewer to connect with and understand the value in an instant can hurt your chances of getting them to click
