Yes, I think the paid tools and apps will always be there, but they will have to morph and change as KZbin is always changing and giving creators more options and analytics

Thank you @RapidRepair I'm glad you understood what I was going for! I want these tools to do well, and with YT doing more, it will only cause these tools to do well too! I have seen the invovation from all three in other areas, but think it's important for creators to know too!

This video brings up both a lot of questions, and a lot of memories. "tags don't matter" (the mindset of 2019-2022) Meanwhile KZbin just goes out and expands their keywords tool Who would have thought that KZbin would end up being a pretty powerful keywords tool :P Let's be real, if it weren't for TubeBuddy and vidIQ's amazing work in the thumbnail and keywords game (and lets be even real-er... YOUR Amazing work in helping lead the way), I doubt KZbin would have been as pushed to be where they are now. KZbin should have been providing these tools 10 years ago and it took them this long to finally catch up. I think these changes are good for TubeBuddy, vidIQ etc. A lot of these tools had a tendency to get too comfortable in their success and weren't innovating as much as they could have been because they all wanted to stay in their own lanes. These plugins did a great job at "waking up the beast", and now that KZbin is awake and nipping at their heels, it forces the plugins to innovate even further which is great for everyone. (now excuse me as Barbera Streisand sings MEEEEEMORIES in my head 🤣)

Hey @BeanieDraws Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words (Espeically around my work, I think it's high praise and will continue to keep earning it). I think KZbin getting into it shows that Keywords AKA Topics, focus, have always been important, and with this helps us make better content to serve our audience, and have better conversations. I think the tools are having harder times, espeically with the layoffs, and I hope all the best, they both had incredible people. I hope that they can rise up and be great again, but time will tell. It's amazing to see ya Beanie!
